Trying Monomix of Prostaglandin E1 After Trimix

I've been using Trimix for a few months - T105 (PA 30mg/PH 1mg/PG 10mg) - generally 10 units with 100mg of Sildenafil 60-90 minutes prior or 20 units without the Sildenafil. Only had 1 or 2 failures at the start but have since had fairly consistent and predictable - often spectacular - results at the aforementioned dosages. Have had some of the best and most confident sex I've ever had in my lifetime of ED troubles. No Prostaglandin ache. No noticeable scar tissue buildup. However, what I'm reading about scarring/fibrosis with long term Trimix and Papaverine usage has me wanting to try a mono of PGE1/Alprostadil. I still have about 10 syringes of Trimix remaining and was thinking this would be a good time to order and experiment with the Alprostadil. If it doesn't produce a similar result or the ache is too much to handle, I'll just re-up my Trimix prescription. This brings me to some questions though...
The Alprostadil I'm looking to order from Defy is a lyophilized 100mcg/10ml vial. What dosage should I start at given the results I've had thus far with the Trimix at a PG of 10mg? I know to inject more slower and already do that with the Trimix.
Has anyone switched from one to the other like this or alternate between the injectable options?

I've never used tri-mix as the mono-mix has always worked well enough for me.
I'm assuming "lyophilized" indicates you will receive it in try powdered form with a separate vial of bacteriostatic water to reconstitute it with. Is that correct?
Based on that assumption (And I'm assuming everyone knows the line about what using assumptions makes you):
I don't think there is any formula you can use to determine a proper starting dose when doing that switch. You're in the wild west I think. The 100mcg/10ml is fairly weak and the mix you're currently using is just a moderate starting dose. You're current mix is 10mcg/ml of alprostadil and you're only using 10 units or 0.1ml. If my math is correct (and it is likely wrong) you're just getting 1mcg of alprostadil. That ain't much. (Someone please check my math!)
My wild ass guess would be to start with 5mcg of alprostadil to hopefully be on the safe side and that's without stacking with Sildenafil. I'm guessing it won't be enough but you need to carefully titrate back up to find your dose.
So, if Dr. oink (NOT) is correct you might consider starting with 50 units or 0.5ml of the 100mcg per 10 ml (10mcg/ml) new mix. That's assuming I understand that new mix correctly as a 10mcg per ml reconstituted mix.
Assuming I understand the new mix correctly I personally would consider only reconstituting with 2.5ml of bacteriostatic water, instead of 10ml, to reduce the injection juice volume. Of course that would change all of the math making it a 25mcg/ml mix and a 20 unit (0.2ml) starting dose to get 5mcg of alprostadil.
Again, please, somebody check my math. I suck at math.
May I strongly suggest you query a medical professional who knows what the hell they're talking about.
Good luck.

You were who I was hoping would reply, Bldoink
Thank you!
Yes, I would have to reconstitute it with bacteriostatic water. I imagine they'll send me instructions as to how much but I'm not 100% sure, so your estimated reconstitution makes sense. So does your math but math also isn't my strongpoint which is why I came here looking for some guidance. I was going to start much lower - like maybe 10 units without stacking a PDE5 inhibitor just to see the effect and either add Sildenafil to that the next time or move up. Similar to how I approached the Trimix. Plus I imagine the prescribing doctor will recommend a starting dose, too. Appreciate your input!

Bdloink -- is that the way you get yours -- dry? I have seen it on Olympia's list but not sure what form they sell it in.
I do applaud your interest in switching, Cozpgh -- I am one of the former Trimix users who suffered significant damage from the Papaverine. Though I will hasten to point out that many if not most Trimix users do not suffer damage.

Thanks Crazyjoe. Yeah, stories like yours have me thinking I should maybe at least attempt the switch despite being pleased with the Trimix results. At 48, I'd ideally like to get 10 to 15 years out of the injections before considering an implant. I know there's no guarantee they'll even be effective for that long but figure I should do what I can to minimize potential scarring and other damage pre implant. We'll see if it's just as effective and for how long.

No I get mine in liquid form from a fairly local compounder.. I'd like to be able to get it in dry form. I don't think Olympia will sell in dry form.

I am in the same boat! I've been using Trimix for about half a year and have been thinking of switching to monomix due to scarring and other issues. Hope you can keep us up to date on how your switch to monomix goes. I am deeply interested in hearing this.

I would think you guys would prefer to get it in liquid form, no? I could check my sources to find some if you want. Bdloink, does Defy ship out of state?

Defy Medical does ship medications nationwide but I don't know if they ship all of their meds nationwide. I've never actually delt with them.
I get my juice from Coastal Compounding Pharmacy in West Palm (
https://www.coastalcompoundingpharmacy.com/). The last time I checked they shipped only within Florida.
