ok guys need a little help - tonight was my 2nd 5ml tri-mix (30-3-30 Papaverine, Phentolamine, PGE-1) and not much happened beside it hurting like hell (feels like i got slammed by in the door) . I moved the location to the other side and it felt right.

so my question is - does it sometimes not work?

Fred

If it worked great the first shot but didn't on the second shot and hurt,... well you missed. I recommend you depress the plunger slowly. If pressing the plunger is difficult and/or hurts, then stop. You're not in the correct spot. Try deeper or shallower until the plunger is easy to depress and doesn't hurt much or any as you depress the plunger. IMHO, given a syringe with an easy to depress plunger, plunger resistance is the most accurate way to determine proper syringe needle depth placement.

I hope you made a typo and didn't really inject 5ml of tri-mix.

When the syringe is in the correct spot, the plunger should depress very easily. I use the 30-1-25 blend, and when the trimix is going in I feel absolutely nothing. Several hours after sex is done, if I squeeze my limp penis it's slightly sore, the next morning no ache at all.

After using Trimix for about 3 years it stopped working for me. I know hitting the correct spot is the most important thing.
Have you had a doppler screen to see if you have venous leakage? Pretty sure that's why Trimix quit working for me as my leak got bigger and bigger.

I see that your sig is correct. I didn't look at your sig previously.

Originall I looked at your original post and took that as saying you did 5ml.

I now assume you were saying you took 30units out of a 5ml vial. I didn't really think you would have injected 5ml.

Good luck.

I always had issues hitting the correct spot on my left side. So many failures I mainly used my right side.
I was told to inject at 11 or 1 o'clock about 1" from the base. I've heard some say 2 or 10 o'clock. I've even seen 3 or 9 o'clock. Since all us humans are different it might be a spot between any of the above.
Once I found the sweet spot on my right side I thought about getting a small circle tattooed there. :)

now i am only up to 4 injections but i inject in the area under the glans 3-4 oclock and the same on the other side. my uro was the one who did it on the first one. said he had more success in that area. i was weary about shooting near the base but like people say, we are all different. i also use a 1/2 needle. for me, after i inject, i think to myself that it isnt that bad and i can continue to do this. that is until its time for the next injection and my hands start to shake. its a process but does get easier.
