Needle length?

What's the best length needle to use when injecting? My urologist had me use a 1/2" needle in his office and the pharmacist gave me 31G 5/16" needles.
I had no response when injecting, I injected at the 9:00 position with the 5/16" needle and slightly embedded the needle hub.

The best needle length is the one that works best for you. I prefer the 5/16" but I think it's more common to use the 1/2". You should probably try both lengths.
If it worked at the doctors office and you tried the same mix and dose at home then you most likely missed the spot. Did the plunger depress easily?
Good luck.

The one time I had a miss (out of over 125 times) was with a 5/16" syringe. Now I only use these ones (photo). For me, they work every time, and with this brand, the plunger works smoothly even after being in the freezer.

Yeah, the Easy Touch seems to be the best brand for dick sticking.

Well
https://www.totaldiabetessupply.com/collections/easytouch or Amazon or any of several online distributers or if not in stock at your local pharmacy any pharmacy should be able to order them. However, some jurisdictions require a script from your doctor. For example, Florida does not require a script although some local jurisdictions in Florida do.
Good luck.

Just finishing up my first 5ml vial. Get mine by mail and the pharmacy sent me 1/2” 27ga needles. I was thinking they would be 29 or smaller and was a bit apprehensive, but, they go in super fast and easy, and hardly ever leaves more than a tiny droplet of blood. They sent a LOT of syringes, so I’ll probably use up what they sent, but may ask for some 29’s when I get refilled next week just to see if I feel any difference.

My Uro injected me with a 1/2", 30 gauge needle in his office and that's what he prescribed along with the Trimix. That's what I've been using since with good results.

15/15 with 1/2cc 31-gauge 5/16” needle.
It’s 100% more about Correct injection Location then needle size..
1-3 or 9/11 o’clock position Never Failed me once..
