Advice on Injection and Scarring Please

Hi everyone,
Thanks for all the information and encouragement on this board. I am 59 and in a somewhat new relationship and have used about 100 injections the last 12-months.
A few months ago I found a small lump in the shaft of my penis. My urologist said it was unusual and he did a camera/scope (cystoscopy) that determined that it isn't in the urethra and it isn't peyronie's but is likely scarring from injections. My erections are fine with injections, no curvature and my urination is good.
I haven't been putting pressure on my penis after the injections (I'm usually in a hurry to get going) but I'm starting to get worried about the scarring, as it seems I'm prone to it. Does applying pressure really sometimes help prevent scarring?
I accept that someday I may need an implant/pump, but I still sometimes get natural erections (though they are totally undependable and always have been) and the injections work well in that they are dependable.
If anyone who has more experience and has been down this road can share that with me, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.
