Preface: Because of my ED, sex and talking about sex with my wife has been difficult for years.

Seems in the past most of our "sex talk" has been about my erections not working. But with the injections many if not most of those problems/issues are being alleviated, with regards to better erections.
How do you approach the subject of injections, and seeking a better sex life with your partner? Especially if she became indifferent because of ED.

Regarding injections what do you consider your ideal erection in terms of erection hardness and length of time suitable for intercourse?
I'm not so concerned with your dosage, since Trimix has various strengths, and the severity of ED varies.
If it's too soft, intercourse is not going to happen, But I've noticed if its really hard it can get somewhat painful.
As far as length of time for erection, most men with ED struggle with not getting it up or not lasting long enough.
And although having 3 hour erection seems like only a dream before injections realistically 3 hours of intercourse is probably not going to work for most men and women.

And finally how many injections did you do before you felt reasonably comfortable that you've reached that magic spot?

when speaking to your wife about ED, it has to be blatant and honest. it affects both of you. i would think that she should be concerned about you and your sexual health first. i know its easy for someone else to speak on the subject but thats just how i see it. i happen to have a pretty understanding wife. she has known about my struggle from the start. she is willing to support whatever i try in respect to our sex life. i did not want to inject at first because i though it would be painful. thank god i was wrong. my wife was completely supportive if i injected or not. her words were "if you dont want to inject then dont, we have other ways to please each other". i am the biggest proponent of doing everything to remedy the situation. if it is a more serious problem that she has, then it has to be brought into to open for both of you to discuss and if need be, get professional help. my wife is not a nurse but she is willing to inject me if only to help me with the task as it sometimes is trying.

on the second subject: i consider being able to penetrate the litmus test when i inject and i would like it to last at least an hour. 99% of the time the injection does that. hell, it makes it harder than i have ever had before. it is a trial and error process because finding the right dose is a task in itself. i am up to 16 injections and the right does for me gives me on average a 3 hour erection. that is just what works for me and my wife. yes there is no more spontaneity but we have a set date for sex each week and for us, when you have sex for 3 plus hours each week, it seems to be more than enough. when the injection does not last long enough for me, i have come to realize that its always been on my left side and it has to be a misfire since the same dose on the right side works great. from now on, we have discussed that the next time its the left side, that she will inject me. and if that does not work and she is not comfortable with it, then we just try again next week.
