Hi everyone,

I went and saw a doctor who gave me a test dose and coached me on using trimix. While I was certainly erect when I received the shot, it still had a bit of flex and my glans was not as engorged as I would have liked.

The doctor told me that with arousal & stimulation it would likely be improved, and sent me on my way with a vial of the mix they gave me in the office.

How much truth is there to it being improved by arousal & stimulation?
Also I had a bit of an ache in my penis after the injection that did not go away until I lost my erection. Almost felt like it was bruised. Is this normal? Is there any way to mitigate that aching feeling?

My first tri-mix injection in the Dr. office was 20 units; was promising but only about 60% of what would be needed for penetration.
The Dr. was happy with this early result and told me to increase by only 5 units at a time. I went all the way up to 35 units and then had phenomenal success, an impressed wife, and a hard throbbing dick that lasted almost 4 hours (a bit scary). It's now 4 months and 23 injections later, and I have dialed it back to 25 units. I believe that spousal stimulation and confidence do make a difference reducing the dosage I need.

Yes, arousal will help. You can increase your dosage until you get an erection without foreplay, or you can dial it back so that you get 80% erect and then foreplay will get you the rest of the way. Practice!

A couple of comments.

My first injection the doctor gave me half of what I thought was being injected. Which gave me a chubby for 2.5 hours.
I was both disappointed and happy. Disappoint I didnt have a raging erection. Happy the effect last over 2 hours. Although as noted the injection at the office was quite a low dose.

My first at home trial, went ok. I used the starter dose as suggested. It seems to give me an erection about the same strength as Viagra. But worked much quicker and lasted much longer. I upped by 5 units and a better erection.

Generally speak Trimix works better with stimulation. And getting an injection at a doctors office, isnt very sexy. But the drive home was something I hadn't experienced in 30 years with the chubby penis.

Everyone is different in what they want, what the expect, and even how long and hard they want it to last.

Everybody reacts differently to injection mixes. I experienced a mild ache after and during erection for first few times. Not sure if I got used to it or it got better but for a year and a half it got better til I had to go up from 5mg- to 35mg over an 18 month period. Then the ache returned and got worse. That’s when I decided to go implant! Never looked back. At 10 weeks implanted in totally confident and ready in 1 minute anytime day or nite.

That is very true! My reaction to Trimix was great at the beginning. At the doctors office the injection they gave me I got a nice erection. At home with it I had the same good erections for a couple of years, although had to keep increasing the dose to make it work. When my dose got to 80 units and wasn't working well, I moved to Quadmix. It only took a few months for my dose of Quadmix to hit 60 units to work, sort of. Besides having my penis ache all the next day, injecting that much drug with crappy results made me seek another route.
