Bad bruise

I injected 3 units of Trimix on Friday afternoon. The results were not as good as usual - erection was getting soft after 15 minutes, and then was lost. I needed to manually stimulate myself to get back on track before completing with her (her best oral efforts were not good enough to build me back up).
There could have been multiple causes:
- It was hot, as in 35 degrees with no AC. That tends to sap your energy.
- I had eaten a BLT 2 hours before
- First pull of a new batch of Trimix...it might be a dud batch?
- May have not 100% injected correctly into the cavernosa?
BUT... yesterday, I noticed a large thumb-size back and blue bruise at the injection site. It appears this came on a few days after I injected. Bruising of any kind has never happened to me before, in 15-20 injections.
Is it possible that I may have hit a vein, and in so doing, reduced the effectiveness of the Trimix?
Any thoughts?

I think you clearly hit a vein. However, drilling through a vein shouldn't have affected the potency of the shot. Drilling a vein large enough to cause a bruise like that shouldn't happen often but it will happen once in awhile. I think I may have done it 4 or 5 times in 11 years. As for the poor erection results, if I had to guess I'd say you just had a partial miss. Carry on.

Thanks a lot for your thoughts - I will chalk up the results to a misfire and see what happens when I entertain her next.

I agree with bldoink. Probably a miss and hit a vein.
I used an auto-injector when on Trimix. That thing left me bruised hit or miss.

I have had two kinds of "misfires": 1. those that hit veins but get into the cavernosa - and are EFFECTIVE BUT leave a bruise/hematoma, and, 2. those that hit or miss a vein but do not penetrate the cavernosa (or they hit the lower urethra/spnogosa bundle) - which are INEFFECTIVE and leave a red raised sore spot. This is the annular tissue outside the cavernosa. At 3 units you would not do much harm on the latter but at 40 units of 80mcg PGE it really hurts. I had a dull batch of needles and did this more than I liked.
I experimented with injecting a small amount of TriMix just under the skin on my forearm. It raised a painless red-to-purple welt. It seems to induce hemorrhage in non-circulatory tissue. SO if you get it in the surface skin, this will happen.

My bruise is painless, so it's highly likely I hit a vein and got into the cavernosa (at least partially). Thx for your response.
