Hello everybody
I ask the people who prepare the syringes and freeze them.
After drawing up the fluid from the vial, do you sterilize the needle before putting the syringe in the freezer?
Which metod do you use?
Thank you

I'm not a medical professional of any kind. Anything I post is based on my own experience at best and delusions and/or hallucinations at worst. Internet forum advice is likely worth what you paid for it, or worse. Always ask your doctor and follow his/her advice.

If you sterilize the vial stopper before using it (each new session you use it) then I would not sterilize the needle. All I've ever used came pre-sterilized AND pre-lubed. You will likely remove the lube or lubricating film from the needle if you wipe them down with an alcohol swab. You want the lube.

Thanks for the reply.
Indeed, so far I always prepared the syringes that I then frozen using the original needle, that I then changed just before the injection.
But now I want to use a new type of syringe that has a needle that cannot be removed.
So I asked the question.
I'll continue to sterilize only the vial stopper.
Thanks again
