Hi everyone, I am a first-time Bimix user and have been recommended this route by my Urologist. I've had it for about a month now and have only used it about 7 times or so. I started with the initial 5 units by my urologist however this led to an unusable erection due to it being soft. I was able to successfully inject myself after the 3rd time at home. After testing the dosage, at around 11.5 Units I got an erection that was strong enough to use. The disappointing part was that after a meager 5 mins I ejaculate and all effects dissipate. I was under the impression that Injections could potentially keep you rock solid safely for upwards of 2 hours before priapism. I asked my doctor what my limit should be and he recommended 15 units as a max cap. I am just so frustrated with something that is supposed to help me get my life back. I cum fairly quickly and usually get back up within the next few seconds, but I was under the impression that Bimix / Trimix would keep you hard regardless for a set time limit. I am ready to just pull the trigger and push my urologist for the implant. For reference, I am 5ft 8, 220lbs, and my member is just barely hitting 5in. My partner loves me to death and thinks I am perfect the way I am down there but we both do wish I could last longer. Is there anyone who can give me advice on their journey in regards to dosage or pulling the trigger with penile implants.

Why did he start you on bi-mix?

They want you to slowly increase dosage so you don't keep an erection too long.
There are different strengths of the meds and there still is trimix. It just takes time to find out your mix.

ED and ED treatments vary from person to person.
What works (or doesnt work) for one person may or may not work for someone else.

I too suffer with ED & PE. Which is the reason I started using Injections. When I ejaculate I find that I lose 10-15% of the erection. But still it's quite usable.
I have found that a cock ring helps keep a harder erection. The key is finding a good fit, that has the correct size and stretchiness.
When first used the injections I was delighted. The problem for me was I had re-learn how to have sex and not worry about getting hard or losing the erection.
I also did several solo runs. I found solo run useful in building confidence in seeing that injections could hold a solid erection for over an hour even after ejaculation.

Are you saying that before using Bimix, You would cum quickly and was able to get hard again within seconds. But now with Bimix, you ejaculate and completely lose your erection?

Hi, may I ask the strength formula of your bimix? Many Uro's start out on extremely weak concentrations, and considering he is also using small amounts of bimix for you, it could set you up for the failure you are having. I also question the 15-unit "max" recommendation he is also offering. Often, users of bimix have to use more units than do patients that use stronger trimix preparations.

All and all though, I would not abandon your attempts at injections just yet, you are just getting started. Not time to throw in the towel by any stretch.

I'm on bimix+atropine, 15 units isn't that strong.

I never used Bimix, started with Trimix. My dose of Trimix got up to 60 units after using it for a couple years, even then sometimes poor or no results. Got switched to Quadmix, that didn't work for long.
The bad part about using an injectable is the planning needed or having to hop up to go inject. That always killed the mood for me.
If you plan to go the implant route, I will say I love mine. There are a few changes you have to adjust to, but anytime you are ready it only takes a few seconds to inflate to a rock-hard tool. Size doesn't matter, the implant will be done to keep as much of your size as possible.

Why do you insist on being Debbie Downer. We get that your injection run was short lived. I'm sorry they didn't work out for you. That won't be the case with everyone. Let these guys find out if injections will work for them before you come over here on the injection forum to proselytize for implants. What is it with some of you implant guys. Everyone knows where the "Implant" sub-forum is. Everybody's probably already checked it out by the time they make their first post.

Again I ask why were you started on bi-mix? You don't actually state your mix, only stating the volume of your dose. What is the mix? If well tolerated there are some really good aspects to alprostadul (PGE1 or Prostaglandin E1) found in alprostadil mono-mix and tri-mix.

If you are a good candidate for injections, the proper mix and dose should give you those long lasting results you desire. You may not be a good candidate for injections but that can't be determined or even wild guessed at from the information provided in your post.

Not being a downer. OP asked about going the implant route, just giving my 2¢.
