Should I try again?
56yo, very healthy (no meds and no known health concerns), active, fit man who has had long-standing ED that has mostly crippled my self-esteem and ruined more than one relationship. I have tried most of the conventional, conservative therapies with mixed results. At this juncture, I am very hesitant to go through with an implant as I have quite a bit of natural function. The problem being, my erections are wildly variable and not at all dependable; a rock hard erection can literally disappear in a matter of seconds. I had fairly good results with Trimix but developed a slight penile curvature and absolutely panicked. While injecting, I was very careful to use good technique and rotate sites. What are your thoughts on maybe trying Bimix this time and using daily penile traction and vacuum pump therapies to prevent scar formation?
58yo, healthy, fit man with long-standing ED and disappointing results with conventional treatment modalities. Now implanted (07/2024) with Tactra, malleable implant.

I don't know why a slight curvature should be a problem. Maybe your injections aren't hitting the corpus cavernosum every time. You're in it when there's no resistance to plunger movement, as if the needle were in air.
I've injected Trimix for five years, once a week, with no scarring that I can detect. Since injecting, I've had a very slight curve to one side, but it's never increased.

Age 80 in 2025. On testosterone replacement due to hypothalamus malfunction. (Attention depressed guys: low testosterone is a cause.) Healthy health nut but ED due to getting old. Like to keep enough cardiovascular ability to thrust for 30 min.
