I may have to move on from pills due to intolerable headaches and eye redness. But before I make a habit of using injections I want to hear your worst (true) horror stories of injection outcomes. Scarring gets mentioned a lot but i want to know how bad it got for you, how many degrees curve/bend did you end up with, how much narrowing, before/after pictures welcome. Also interested in any other horror stories, like cavernositis etc.

Why not ask about the alternate outcome? A happy and stiff penis enabled by an injection -- without the baggage of all the problems you will find if you look "hard" enough (pardon the pun).

There are probably more happy users than unhappy horror story users.
When pills got to the point of not working well, and the side effect of a migraine the morning after, I was happy to find injectables to keep my wife happy. When you can't get an erection naturally, you have to do what you have to do.
I will say Trimix was wonderful for me, at first. After 2-3 years it started to not work as well and I had to increase the dosage. And increase, and increase. When I was up to injecting 60 units my penis would ache the next day. Switched to Quadmix and that mix stopped working in 6 months, same way as Trimix.
I used an autoinjector the entire time. It left a bruise on my shaft, but no other issues.

I've gotten quite a good results with Trimix.

I first heard about Penile Injections in 2009 from this forum. I've had ED and PE for years. Using viagra for 10+ years I could still have sex. But for my wife, it was lackluster at best. I was a 2-minute man. Either had trouble getting hard or lost erection due to either ED or PE. Because of my ED/PE my wife stopped wanting sex. Because of this I finally came back to this forum (FrankTalk) and gave injections serious consideration.

Hello Two Step. Let me say that I am sure that this is not the typical experience for injection therapy users, however it is my experience. After having a radical prostatectomy at age 60 ( no previous ED problems) I was given a low daily dose of Viagra to try to keep the blood flowing to where it was supposed to go. After a few months I could start taking the full dose but that produced no usable erections and severe headaches and body aches. Cialis, same results.Throughout all of this I was also using my VED on a regular basis and the size and shape of my penis was the same as always.Fast forward about a year my physician prescribed the lowest dose ofTri-mix. I can’t remember if it was 1cc or 1 Mg , but I double checked the dosage before proceeding. I injected the Tri-mix in the side of my penis very carefully to make sure that I did it correctly and within 5 minutes I was rock hard. The only problem was that my penis was severely bent to the left, and was half the length and girth of my normal erection.oh well, let’s see if it works. As it turns out, it was quite painful for me, and also painful for my wife due to the severe bend and we abandoned our first effort at being intimate. After an hour or so, still very painful for me and not subsiding. No problem as I had the Sudafed on hand. I took half the maximum dose and waited more than an hour, then took the rest. Still erect. Call the on call physician and was told to take another half dose , and if that didn’t work go to the emergency room. Did all of that and off to the emergency room for the most painful,and humiliating experience of my life. My Doctor told me that I must be super sensitive to this medication and suggested that if I could even measure such a small dose, to try half of that. ( he confirmed that I had taken the right amount the first time) I was willing to try anything so I did as he suggested and administered half the amount on the opposite side of my penis, and wham, same thing. Bent, half the size, painful,Sudafed, wait call, emergency room. WTF? Fortunately as we pulled into the parking area my erection started to subside, but it was still hours before it returned to normal. No more. Tried intimacy with my wife without having intercourse, and she was ok with that, however I was not. So now I am 4 1/2 weeks post op of having had my implant surgery, and I am feeling really great. I was concerned at first because my penis still wanted to go to the left at first, not bent, but pointing west, now things are really returning to normal. Will I get all of my size back? I don’t know but I feel so much better physically and mentally than I have in years.
Please, take this for what it’s worth, as my experience only. This is not the norm, I know, but I think that the injections did permanent damage to my penis. I say this because Using my VED before and after the injections, well, the results were totally different.
As I said, there are plenty of success stories of people using the injections, but that was not my experience.

only horror stories here are a couple of misfires and 4-5 hour erections that make for the best sex of my life. i am lucky to have a wife that wants it all.

Nope, no horror stories. Unless you want to count the learning curve I went through when I started. I started with Edex which comes in one time use cartridges and, I believe, 3 dose sizes of 10, 20 or 40mcg of alprostadil. All are in 1ml of bacteriostatic water. You toss any of the unused cartridge if it contained more than your dose. Let me tell you , it's hard to toss the unused portion as much as those Edex cartridges cost. That caused me some borderline priapisms and some, I'm sure, a little over the border. The Edex proprietary cartridges have a lot of rubber to push with their system which makes it difficult to determine proper placement. That resulted in some sore dick episodes when some meds went into the wrong tissues. I did get alprostadil ache in the beginning. But that resolved over time.

My horror stories involve the affects trimix has on the cardiovascular system. In december I got lightheaded and dizzy during sex and my ears were ringing really loud. Then in january I actually passed out a couple hours after sex, once the trimix left my penis and circulated through the rest of my body. I didn't know this could happen til my urologist confirmed it. My cardiologist said that ED meds, even trimix can bring on heart conditions and circulatory problems earlier in life than you would normally develop them. So now I'm doing consultations for an implant.

But trimix did save my love life for a couple years, so I suggest you use it if you need it. It works well.

That's unfortunate, almost sounds like the same deal as viagra. Were your side effects with injection similar to those with PDE5i, or of a different nature?

I got injected a high dose of Trimix at the Nathan Papadeas office, it produced a hard rock erection that lasted for over 3 hours, it was very painful after 1 hour mark, I got rid of the erection by injecting Phenylephrine, two days later I injected Trimix again and I noticed a dent of my left side causing lateral curve, but after 3 years my penis became narrower, and greater left deviation. I do not have the pictures on how it looked before the injection, but these are how I looked now:
