Trimix was frozen during transportation, then thawed, is it a problem?

Hello friends, my lifestyle forces me to travel continuously. I was using a bottle cooler to carry my trimix and I realized it was completely frozen, maybe not the first time. Is it a problem if it happens from time to time?

From what I experienced Trimix shouldn't be frozen, thawed then re-frozen numerous times. I always put it straight to the freezer when delivered. Left one in use sit in the fridge. When using it and travelling I used an insulin carry case. Small, insulated pouch with ice packs on both sides. Noted that the mix lost some potency if the ice packs melted too much.

I froze my first 3 vials when i got them in feb of last year. I thaw it in my hand, get what i need and right back to the freezer every time I inject. I’m on the last vial from that batch and its still as effective as day one. I do notice a slight drop in efficacy when there is only two or three injections left in a vial but then its only by a few units that i have to increase to have the same efficacy. Maybe dont let it thaw to room temperature or warmer for hours and then re freeze. Freezing lengthens the use for me. Just my 2 cents.

No, I've never seen it as a problem or seen any reduction in potency if it's thawed and then refrozen. I do that every time I refill syringes and then put the remainder back in the freezer multiple times.

I'll also add that as an experiment, I removed a syringe from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for over 60 hours, then used it with no drop in potency. That tells me that there isn't a need to keep Trimix ice cold until the moment it's needed. I've stored mine in a suitcase without cooling packs for 24 hours with no problems.

When I get my vile I fill several syringes usually using half the vile and freeze them. I usually just thaw the vile just once to file the rest. My amount is very consistent, so this has worked well for me.

I have used it since with zero problems. I can tell you that the bottle was completely frozen at least once. Maybe it lost some strength, this is possible. But it is still working perfectly fine for me. I will make sure it doesnt happen again.

I have never noticed a fall off of potency from thawing and then refreezing Trimix. For 10 years my usual routine is to thaw the bottle and once thawed, fill the amount of syringes I'd like to have on hand. I then refreeze the vial and syringes. When I know I will be having sex I take just 1 syringe out of the freezer, let it thaw and I'm good to go. I only notice a loss of potency when my Trimix vial reaches the 1 year old mark....it will still work, but have to increase the dosage a bit.
