For the past twenty years or so viagra has worked; before that, injections. No longer, so my doctor suggested a return to injections. Seems that combining the two is not recommended (I have read the documents about this in the General Discussion, unfortunately they are all over ten years old.). In my case, my pill induced erection is fine for masturbating, not for sex with my partner. Wondering if it's safe or if anyone has tried to use pills when masturbating saving the more cumbersome injections for sex with their partners? Also, does anyone have recent experience or knowledge about combing the two? Thank you.

I combine the two regularly. I do sometimes combine pills with a VED. Pills alone don't work for me.

I combine a daily low dose tadalafil 5 mg with trimix. The tadalafil is enough for some slight chubbies at night, but not strong enough for sex with a partner.

My urologist prescribed 100mg sildenafil with half of the Trimix than I would otherwise need, to reduce the infamous Trimix ache. I've been doing this for five years with perfect results.

Of course, you have to start with a small Trimix dose and titrate up slowly all over again, to avoid priapism.
