So started using Trimix this week. I’ve had ED problems for about a decade. Was taking Viagra 100mg and getting an ok erection but wasn’t holding up during penetration. Lots of stops and starts. My URO mentioned Trimix as an option that might help so I gave it a shot. He prescribed me what I realize now is a super weak strength 15/.25/6. Scrolling through the board I haven’t seen one this low. He recommended 10 units to start. That didn’t do a whole lot. The next time I bumped it up to 30 units. This actually was decent. I’d say similar to the viagra. Maybe a little harder. Still couldn’t keep hard the whole time but getting close. I will attempt 40 units next and hopefully that does the trick. I have follow up with URO tomorrow. It seems to me I should ask for a stronger mix. It seems the most common starter mix is approx 30-1-10 which is double the strength I was prescribed. The injections were easy and hit spot both times. Anyway getting closer to figuring this out. Appreciate any feedback or thoughts. Thanks.

Some guys get an ache with the stronger formulas; could be why you were given a weak mix. Congratulations on hitting the corpus - not easy for beginners.

So question is do I ask URO for a stronger mix or take more units of weaker mix. Just trying to get to where I can maintain erection without worrying about losing it during sex. Based on last attempt I think 40-50 units of 15/.25/6 will do the trick. Does it make a difference with stronger formula taking less units. I’ve been all over this site last 2 weeks. Trying to get as much info as possible. Nice knowing we are all in the same boat. Like I said earlier taking the shots were easy for me. Hit the spot both times. Small needle 31G 5/16. The strange thing for me was watching my dick grow without any stimulation. Modern science. Erection lasted about 1 1/2 hrs which seems about normal. Was a little achy from being hard that long but wasn’t an issue. Thanks.

Ask your doc. When I was injecting and had to get up to 40-50 units for good results my penis would ache all the next day. But for a newbie congrats on getting the knack so quick. Best of luck.

my Uro started me out on a stronger mix. his starting dose was 30 units, to which i talked him down to 15. that was too much. i found that with the stronger mix i only needed 5 units to do the trick for length and quality. i would ask for a stronger dose. personally i would hate have to inject that 30-50 units. with a smaller dose there is plenty of area to play with. just my two cents.

Thanks. Makes sense. Economically for sure. Next question if you inject let’s say 10 units and after 30 minutes you’re not quite there can you inject another 5. I ask because I know you aren’t supposed to inject twice in a day. I’m assuming that means not regular dose twice.

Well just left URO. He said to bump it to 40 units for the time being. He wrote a script for 30/1/20. So will see how it goes. Hoping 40 is the major number with current formula. Doc seems to think that should work. Appreciate all the feedback.
