Hello all. I have a question about injecting edex. I have been using trimix and injecting 25 to 40 units in order to obtain a good erection for sex. I am now getting edex through the VA. It comes in a 40mcg vial that has to be mixed in the vial and then injected.
My uro has instructed me to inject the entire 40mcg into my penis. 40mcg is the same as 1ml.
Can someone who has been using edex please tell me if it is OK to inject the entire 40mcg at once?

Phil, 75, married 54 years, ED started about 9 years ago. After viagra and cialis and pumping have found Trimix. Use 10 units injected with a partial erection. 31g-5/16" or 31g 1/2"needle. 10-1-30

I tried Edex before I went on Trimix.
I did inject all of it.
It's not as strong as Trimix, so you need to inject all of it.
Edex did make my penis ache so my uro put me on Trimix

Started with Viagra at age 40. Worked good for about 12 years.
Tried Trimix injections, worked great for about 8 years
Now Trimix no longer works.
I got implant on Oct 26th 2022.

Bad advice IMHO. Without doing the math a whole Edex 40 will contain over 8 times as much alprostadil as what he currently is taking in his tri-mix dose. Granted, there's two other ingredients in the tri-mix but there's just too many unknowns as to what his reaction will be. He may need the whole cartridge, but maybe not. A fair chance not!
