I am having trouble locating a 3/4 in. insulin syringe, at least one that isn’t 25g or larger. I did not research the availability of such syringes before I got my additional dermal fillers and I am concerned the 1/2 will not reach. I haven’t had a chance to test them yet but the 1/2 was cutting it close prior to the procedure. Just curious if 3/4 or even 1 in. is a thing…. I am anxious about it now.

What are you injecting. Trimix I use a 31 gauge by 5/16 inch. Testosterone I use a 29 gauge by 1/2 inch.

I've never seen U-100 insulin syringes with needles longer than 1/2". Obviously you can use syringes other than U-100 insulin syringes. You would then have to compute your dosages in milliliter fractions rather than U-100 insulin units. Not a big deal. Your needle gauge might have to be a good deal bigger. 1" by 25 gauge seems to available.
I use 5/16" needles but push it so deep I'm indenting my skin with the needle hub. Have you tried that with the 1/2"? I'm fairly certain you can indent enough with the 1/2" to get the job done.

I am still healing so I have not had the opportunity to test the 1/2” yet. I pray it’s sufficient because I don’t want to think about going to a larger gauge. I have had several filler treatments over the past two years so penetrating deep enough is somewhat difficult. I am happy with the results and should be through with those now so if the 1/2” works all is well.
