How to get generic Invicorp in the U.S.

Hello. This is my first post, though I've been following the website since my prostatectomy 2 years ago. I am one of those men who cannot use any formulation of intracavernous injection which includes alprostadil because of pain. After much investigation and hunting around on the internet I discovered that Olympia Pharmacy (https://www.olympiapharmacy.com) does compound a combination of vasoactive intestinal peptide with phentolamine for ICI. My doctor and I came up with the following prescription: vasoactive intestinal peptide/phentolamine mix for intracavernous injection: 50 mcg/l vasoactive intestinal peptide plus 4 mg/ml phentolamine per ml. Inject 0.25 to 0.5 ml as needed, no more than 3 times per week. Do not exceed 0.5 ml per dose. Quantity 5 ml. This dosing is the same as 1/2 and 1x the dose prescribed in the UK and elsewhere that Invicorp is approved. The concentration is slightly lower, since Invicorp is provided in 0.37 ml ampules. As I was instructed by Olympia pharmacy, my urologist simply had to fax a written prescription to: 407-604-6434. Olympia then contacted me for payment and shipped it overnight. They ship to most states. The cost was about $150 for the medication and $50 for shipping. This amounts to a cost of $20 per injection at the normal full dose. I can confirm what others and the literature report, which is that there is no pain with these injections, other than the pain from the needle. I can also confirm that what I received appears to be the genuine article, as I definitely experienced the brief period of facial flushing that many do with Invicorp. Your urologist will probably be unfamiliar with Invicorp and want to see some supporting literature. I would refer them to the following articles: https://bjui-journals.onlinelibrary.wil ... 08.07764.x and https://academic.oup.com/jsm/article/20 ... 10/7220242
