for anyone using alprostadil what is the dose that works for you ? i haven't tried it yet .the instructions i have say to start with 20 units or .2ml . i went to the local pharmacy here and of course they don't have Sudafed . [philippines is backwards]is there any thing else to take in case of a boner that wont go down ?

I use 11.2 to 13.6 mcg of alprostadil. I don't know what your mix strength is so I wouldn't know how many units of your mix that translates into. In my case that's 14 to 17 units. My mix is at 80mcg per ml. To be on the safe side I wouldn't start at over 10mcg of alprostadil and that may be too much. It probably won't be enough but it's better to have your first trial not strong enough than a hospital ER trip.

its 100ug plus 2.5 ml of water to be mixed . the instructions say to use .2ml or 20 units . so your thought is half that ? i think ill go with the half[.10ml] and add the other half if needed . i assume each new injection needs a new unused needle ?

I generally use about 20-30 mcg, but I have also tried 40 mcg

My layman calculations tell me your mix will be a 40mcg/ml mix.
So again if my calculations are correct (and I really suck at math) your starting dose at 20 units will be 8mcg of alprostadil. For me that would be enough for a chicken chokin session with a cock ring. No penetration. But it may be great for you. It is likely a good place to start, depending on your history of course. It would be too much for some guys to start at. I assume you have a competent doctor that recommended that dose.

I'm not sure what you mean there. If your saying you're thinking at starting at 10 units which (I think) means 4mcg alprostadil. Well that should certainly be a safe conservative starting point.

Are you saying you can't get Pseudoephedrine pills in the PI?

Are you saying you can't get Pseudoephedrine pills in the PI?

i used the 1.5 on the needle or 15 lines. all this ug and .ml ,mcg, units is enough to confuse me and is new to me. and . so i assume the line increments are a unit each . the needle i used went up to 30 or .3ml. i bought those separately. the needle that came with the product has .10ml or 100 unit lines .
it had no effect and i didnt bother trying more .tonight ill try 30 units .....BUT ,i read online that once the powder is mixed with the water it has to be used in 24 hour. the seller says no it can be refrigerated and used until empty . its 100ug when mixed . i mixed it 2 weeks ago . so after tonight ,the second try if i dont respond to 30 units i wont bother with it anymore .
and yes Pseudoephedrine was not available at the pharmacy where i asked for it . i only checked one but the answer will most likely be the same at the others .[but ill ask at a few more today]
this is a smallish island off the main island , a nice place but severely lacking in common every day products . to procure something not available its either a 1 hour ferry ride followed by by a 3 hour drive to cebu city or order online with a week delivery time .

I'm using Easy Touch 31 gauge, 5/16" (8mm) .3cc/ml U-100 insulin syringes. They have numbers with dark lines at 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 units. They have smaller lines without numbers at every unit and even smaller unnumbered lines at every half unit. 10 units would be a third of the syringes capacity. 15 units would be half of the syringe's capacity.

The syringes most guys use are human insulin syringes. Human insulin syringes are U-100 syringes. A unit is 1/100 of a ml. So there are 100 units in a 1ml U-100 insulin syringe. 50 units in a .5ml U-100 insulin syringe. 30 units in a .3cc/ml U-100 insulin syringe. If you're going to talk in units please make sure you're using U-100 insulin syringes. Insulin syringes for veterinary use are (I think) U-40 syringes and a unit on those means something else.


OK, mcg and ug are the same thing. They both mean microgram. 1mcg and 1 ug is the same. I think ug is Greek.

I'm not clear on how much you used. If you used 15 units, or half of a .3cc/ml U-100 insulin syringe I'm thinking you got 6mcg of alprostadil. We've had a few guys on the forum that said that was a lot for them but for most guys that really isn't much.

Injection technique is very important. Please read a bunch of older posts in the injection sub-forum to educate yourself on some effective techniques. Have you watched any of the demonstration videos found on Youtube? But injection technique is another long topic I won't get into right now.

Alprostadil has a pretty short life unrefrigerated. Even refrigerated you've exceeded the recommended shelf life. I keep mine hard frozen. I've used my alprostadil mix successfully that was over a year old. But I kept it hard frozen. It thaws quickly.

If you're actually getting legitimate quality alprostadil I wouldn't give up so soon. Get a new batch and keep it frozen. It can take awhile to titrate up to the proper dose. Be patient! Keep in mind many guys need a fairly potent dose. My effective dose starts at about 12mcg alprostadil. Some guys need 40mcg, which would be a full ml of your mix.

I'd be surprised if you can't find it. It seems pretty universal.

it is a insulin needle that goes up to .3ml .it has the 4 unmarked lines with the 5th marked at 5 then 4 more and then ten etc up to 30 ,so 5 ,10 ,15 20 ,25 ,30.
i went to 15 or 15 units . the 30 line is also marked as .3ml
well maybe i kept the mix to long . going off of what the seller said when i asked . who stats he diabetic and keeps the mix refrigerated until he uses all of it .but that is contrary to the info online .
ill up the dose this evening and if it has no effect ill inquirer with the seller again as to how he keeps his product .
it is a nice place . sometimes a little to quite ,but ithas a great beach .
oh yeah i did look up how to inject it and the instructions where to inject at the 10 oclock or 2 oclock position 0r left of top and left of top

so i tried 25 units last night and all it did was give a slight warm feeling in the injection area . i guess it lost its potency sitting constituted in the not very cold fridge for 2 weeks . oh well .
it was a 100ug bottle supposed to be able to use for several shots . that is a failure .
single shot/use bottles would better . mix it , use and done
