Would you guys be so kind to share your opinion and maybe your own experience on the topic? How effective is Caverject/Trimix for tackling venous leak? I know they only buy some time, but I am 33, and it seems like Tadalafil and Sildenafil are loosing its effectiveness. I stil can achieve firm erections with pills, but as soon as I stand up, or stop stimulating, they go away fuckin* quickly. It also seems like my erections became quite weaker since Covid in autumn last year(don’t know if it is a direct correlation), and nocturnal erections are not very reliable and regular even on 5mg tadaladil daily.
The other problem is that I live in Germany and as far as I know it’s not easy to get an implant paid by the insurance even if you want to go for it. The implants are last resort over here, after all the methods (incl. injections) failed.
Could you share your own experiences of using injections while suffering of the venous leak? How effective are they for you and how long did they work?

Re: How effective are injections for the venous leak?
Bottom line is it will depend on how bad the leak is. The injections will overcome a venous leak until the leak gets too severe for the drug to overcome it. A proper novelty/sex shop cock ring can extend the usefulness of the injections some.

It is quite concerning, I don’t see a lot of guys here effectively using Trimix (etc.) against the venous leak
Also, being honest, it is frustrating enough to go hiding in the bathroom before sex to get an injection, now a cock ring could possibly become another obligatory thing. I mean, fuck, I get why a lot of guys tend to jump straight to getting an implant…

No doubt doing an injection can be a bit of an inconvenience. You can learn to live with it like many guys do, or not. Your choice. As far as the cock rings go, many guys like them even if they aren't needed. They wear them because they like them. Again, your choice.

Have you talked with your urologist who specializes in Men's sexual health?
The fact is many of these meds are used on a try-it-and-basis.
For example, for some men, Viagra works better than Cialis, For other men Cialis works better.
Same with injections. Some men who had poor results with pill injections work well. For other injections don't do much. Although it is estimated the injections work for 90% of men even when pills don't work.
As far as a venous link the fact that you can get an erection, you are way ahead of others in this area.
One thing to remember is that injections work well because the vascular dilator medicine goes directly into the erectile chambers, whereas with pills the medicine goes throughout the body. Which produces side effects that injections do not have.
Age: 68. Struggled with ED/PE for years.
Used Viagra for 10+ years with mixed success.
In May 2022 started using Trimix with very good results.
Feb 2023 developed PD
2023 still in treatment for PD, and still using Trimix with very good results

It depends on how bad your leak is ... I had the penis sonogram not much was said .. they started me on the shots ... months later and 100's of dollars later after I never got the first erection out of the whole mess only pain for my trouble did they admit that the leakage was too much for the shots to help 6-30-2023 got a Rigicon mallabble implant due to age and health issues instead of an inflatable ..

I have, but it was a couple of years before. All the doc said was the reason may be performance anxiety. I knew it was part of the problem, but not the main reason. I used to live in a small town, so there was basically only one uro doc over there. No Doppler was ever performed. But I could effectively (more or less) use sildenafil and tadalafil, but since last year, effectiveness has decreased significantly. I am concerned that injections might get me hard(like pills stil do), but I would lose erection after standing up or by changing positions. I guess the only way is to test it. Just was wondering how other guys cope with a leak.
I would prefer to go for the implant, cause I can’t imagine finding a girlfriend who would like to date and possibly marry a guy, who must use injections. But here in Germany implants are the last solutions, after all other methods have failed. I don’t even know to which extent injections have to be ineffective in order to get a “green light” from my insurance company for the implant. Knowing how things work here, they might tell to use three cock rings at once, just to avoid paying for the operation lol

To be honest, India is not an option for me. To far, too risky imo. I am thinking about Turkey, there have been some very positive posts and feedback on the forum about Istanbul. Also, ridgi, but not a malleable one.
