About six months ago, I had a test injection at 35 units at the Uro when I had the Venous leak checked. That all checked out, however the erection was almost four hours and had to be injected twice with Phenylephrine to bring it down. A month later, I had another injection at the Uro to test a starting dose. I injected 25 Units and again, it was almost four hours long and had to receive another Phenylephrine injection to bring it down. The third time, we did 10 units, and this resulted in an erection of 5 minutes and was instructed to try 15 units at home as a starting dose.

I've done about 15 injections so far and I can't tell if I'm injecting wrong, medication is going bad (not shaking enough?), syringes are too long but the erections are not consistent.

If I inject 12 units, it work for about 20 minutes with some work.

If I inject 14 units, it works about 3 hours.

I also think I have better results injecting on the left rather than the right side. Also the erections are okay, not perfect, so I'm not sure why there is a huge disparity when the doses are small.

I have small corpora, so I use 5/16 in. (8mm) needles. You're in a corpus if there's no more resistance to plunger travel than if the needle were in air, and there should be no pain from the fluid flow out of the needle. After injecting, immediately squeeze your shaft 6-8 times; the corpora have fluid connections and this pumps some Alprostadil into the other corpus, to produce a straight-ahead erection.

Does "All checked out" mean you have or don't have a venous leak?

I'm no doctor but pretty sure the typical starting dosage is 10-20 units.

Also, lots of guys keep a log of their injections.
I note the following:

date of injection,
amount injected,
location of injection (left side right side etc),
erection hardness,
length of time erection last,
plus any notable notes.

Notes would include anything. For example:
A couple of times it took 20-30 minutes to start working. Other times I'm erect in 5 minutes. Such notes help figure out why.
Things that brought the erection down. I used to lay awake for hours waiting for the erection to go away, now either get up, which makes it go down I go to sleep since I've never been fully hard for more than 3.5 hours.
I also have notes regarding my partner's reaction with the aim to be a better lover.
