End of the road?

So I tried Trimix with various formulations. Upping the components as advised by both my doctor's PA and the compounding pharmacy. I think the last one was 150/30/300 per 5ml or something like that.
All I ever got was a slight stiffening of the midsection and a LOT of pain.
The PA has given up and said all I can do is an implant now. I'm 66. My wife is not really interested in sex any more. She would do it for me but has no real interest herself. We could try non-penetrative sex I guess but honestly I'm not sure I could get past the shame.
It's really difficult to look at the rest of my life and realize I'll never enjoy this any more. It really does make life less desirable for me.

Sorry to hear Trimix didn't work. And sorry your wife isn't interested anymore. Got to say when my ED was bad my wife lost interest too. Told her I needed that intimacy we share. No way the rest of my life could go by without sex. At 68 I got my implant, and since then we've had good intimate times. Don't let the depression that comes with ED get you down.

I don't think a PA is qualified to make that determination, a urologist MD would be better qualified.

My wife too lost interest in having sex. She's told me several times quite Frankly it was because of my ED/PE.
Thankfully Trimix works well for me.
We are both pretty reserved sexually, But thankfully no longer sexless.
