Inconsistent trimix results

When I read through the comments here it seems like those with lots of experience with TriMix (e.g., hundreds of injections) see very consistent results at a given dose. Is that your experience?

Context: I've injected maybe a dozen times ranging from too much (20-units that results in 4+ hours hard-on and need for Sudafed) to not quite enough (5-units and no hard-on). So I thought I zero'd in on 10-units being the goldilocks, but then my last injection I went 4+ hours hard and had to take Sudafed again. High class problems, but ugh. Note that I take a daily 5-mg Cialis because I don't always inject with the girlfriend and I had taken said Cialis like 2-hours before the injection so was at peak concentration. Also, I just stopped using the auto-injector based on advice here and think I'm getting a "better" injection in the cavernosa without it.

So, the question, should I expect consistency across injections for a given dose? I really want to figure out what works and stop monkeying around with dose and technique. Thanks for any input!

i am also on daily cialis and figured out that on the days i inject, i need not take it because it certainly lengthens the erection duration especially taken with a few hours of injecting. nowaday, when i inject, i do not take the daily cialis nor any supplements prior to injecting as they also lengthen the erection. i have never used an auto injector but have read that for this injection it is not the best thing. injecting your self gives you the feel of piercing each layer needed. also the use of a pump gives you a better and larger area in which to inject. i am up to over 200 injections with only a handful of misfires. hope this helps.

I too take daily cialis, the same dose as you.
I wouldn’t be too concerned about “peak concentration”. The entire point of cialis is that it has a long half-life, is effective for a long time. I just continue to take it every day whether I expect to inject or not.

There doesn’t seem to be a way around taking your time to zero in on the “right dose”.

My dose and concentration has changed over the years. I’ve been injecting for around 8 years now. But I have found pretty consistent results. Good injection technique. Medication that is relatively fresh, consistent dose, gets me results in an expected range. Sometimes I’m a little firmer than others. Sometimes it lasts a little longer than others. Just like my pre-ED results.

So, hang in there and keep dialing in the right dose.

I DITTO Good Wood's comments...I too am on Cialis 5mgs OD for BPH. I have found that the primary reason I don't get the results I like is my injection technique... I had more mis-fires with an auto injector than injecting by myself. There are many variables with injecting Trimix same as any one else about to engage in sex...your mood, her mood, stress, alcohol, lack of sleep...the list goes on. I know there are guys on here that no matter what Trimix gives them an erection capable of intercourse.. But I find I need some sort of stimulation otherwise I just get a "chubby". Oh and for me a cock ring definitely brings better results. Hang in there, once you find the right dose and you get your technique down..you'll have fun. PS: I've been injecting Trimix for about 12 years.

I don’t have enough experience to offer a meaningful recommendation compared to the remix veterans here. However, once I started using the traction device as a dick holder my injections have been flawless.

I have the restorex device that’s about 4 years old. I no longer use it for therapy. However, it dawned on me I could use it to hold my Johnson steady while I inject. Important note: I barely put any tension on my dick, just enough to hold it still. This has allowed for very precise injections while I am laying down or semi reclined. I then stand up, walk around and massage my penis per normal protocols. I have not had a single misfire since doing it this way. I fully recognize that restorex would not recommend this and that I am not a doctor and my advice should be taken as such. I can only say it works great for me.

If anyone is interested, I have a like-new Restorex that I would sell for less than half the new retail cost. I used it for a few months leading up to my IPP procedure. It retails for $525 and I would sell mine for $250. If interested, send me a message.
