Trimix maximum dose

I went to a men’s clinic that advertises on this site. Like other urologists I have seen, they diagnosed a venous leak. The big difference from other urologists is that they immediately put me on the maximum dose of tri-mix (papaverine 30 mg/phentolamine 3.3 mg/PGE-1 53 mcg/mL) and said it was OK to use a full syringe. I’ve mentioned that previous urologists have said that too much Trimix can damage the penis, and I was told not to worry about it, and if I were to develop any scarring to just inject other places. I’ve been afraid to use the full syringe and have been stopping at 60 units, plus Cialis plus a constriction ring which gets me a decent, if short lived erection. I’ve only injected several times in a few months, because I am nervous about the dosage.
I know my venous leak is bad and I’m trying to come to terms with a possible implant. I’m just wondering if anyone else uses such a high dose of tri-mix and if it is safe to do so. I have begun to question the advice of this men’s clinic….

I’ve been on a very large dose of injections for several years now and have suffered no ill effects. No scarring, no problems.
Use good technique and just enjoy the sex. Life is too short to not enjoy it.

That’s a large dose which would be quite expensive to use often. If you enjoy sex and want to enjoy that part of your life I believe I’d be discussing implant options.

I was using up to 80 units at one time. No problem with scarring but Trimix just quit working. Also that much made for an achy dick all the next day.

That doesn't sound like the maximum strength mix. Yes, max for papaverine and phentolamine maybe but certainly not PGE-1. PGE-1 can go a lot higher than 53mcg/ml.
I'm unclear on the amount of that mix you're injecting. Certainly it's not 6ml. That would be a ridiculous amount, six 1ml syringes! Did you mean 0.6ml or 60 units? 60 units of that mix would be a potent dose. If you're able to tolerate 60 units of that you obviously have no issues with PGE-1. You might want to see about increasing the PGE-1 component.
Good luck

Yes, 60 units,I always get it mixed up…every urologist says something different; I was told I had the maximum dose, from a men’s clinic which actually does everything in house (and charges a fortune for it)….cutting ties with the men’s clinic because I was also roped into TRT therapy, which I stopped after a few months… seems impossible to find a urologist who accepts insurance, and who is knowledgeable about injections

I've never found a urologist that was particularly knowledgeable about injections. Kinda astounding. I did my own research and then trained my Primary doctors, four so far. You have to be very tactful about it as most doctors have big but fragile egos.

You got the fragile egos part right .. I have found if you buck the "system" the slightest bit they turn a cold shoulder to you and will try to get the NP to handle any future appointments with you ... or fluff you off saying everything is normal and good luck ..

Maybe I've just developed the unflattering talent of manipulation to a higher degree. You need to stroke their ego while seeming deferential while you're explaining your situation and eliciting their assistance. All the while sounding well informed and confident in your knowledge. And you do need to be well informed and confident. But don't be pushy or arrogant.
