Just curious what size & length of needle you folks are injecting with. I've noticed that it seems like a lot are using 5/16 but my urologist ordered 1/2" for my injections but I have not injected any yet. 5/16" sure sounds better than 8/16".
Thanks for any input on this

My penis is thin and 5/16 works in most places, but I get fewer misses in a few places using 1/2in. Apparently my corpora are not nice and straight and parallel like the medical diagrams. Keep a record of your injection parameters and you'll see a pattern after many injections.
I suspect thicker penises would need 1/2in everywhere.

I use 1/2 inch which works well on an above average girth.

I use the 5/16" and it seems to work better than the 1/2". I am on the more
thicker and wider size, I bury the needle and then pull it back a small bit.
I started with the 1/2" but the VA uses only the 5/16" with the pre-loaded
cartridge for the EDEX injection. I like it, I seem to have better control than
using the 1/2" for some reason. Every man is going to differ on what feels the
best for him. You need to experiment a little bit and you will find out what fits
your needs the best. Good Luck!

The correct needle length is the one that works best for you.

for me, i use 1/2" 30g. but choose the injection site with care as that makes a difference too.

When I started injecting, my Uro ordered 1/2" length needles and I used them for a year and had my share of misses. I read on this forum about 5/16" as I didn't even know they existed. As my flaccid penis is quite small and thin, I thought that the smaller needle might work better. So, next renewal I asked for the 5/16" and I find them to be much better for me. They are also thinner guage, so in my mind, they're doing less damage as well. But it's the success rate that made me switch. Good luck with your injection journey!
