I use the 5/16 31 gauge and have been for quite a few years. I think I've seriously bent a needle once. I have less severely bent a few needles letting a full vial sit on top of the syringe unsupported while drawing a dose. But those were easily corrected using the vial stopper to bend it back. My vials are only 1ml. I'm sure it would be a bigger problem using 5 or 10 ml vials with their extra weight. I'd probably have to adjust my dose drawing technique.

I’ve had needles bending with a 5/16 31g. I now use 1/2” 30g which seems to go through the tissue better. Try moving your penis straight out and a little up when injecting. I kept injecting with my penis to the side causing the needle to bend. I try to not move the needle when going in slow. I find the needle and tissue moves at time when going in, so you have to be straight in.

Using a good auto injector will stop the bent needle problem

I use an autoinject 2 and love it. Set it and forget it, all you worry about is placement.
