Progress stalled with increasing dosage/strength of Tri-Mix

Hello - my urologist has been increasing the dosage/strength of my script for Tri-Mix. I have been experiencing a leveling off of response to the Tri-Mix (erectile rigidity of ~ 5 or "not quite there yet)." Erection duration has been about 30 minutes. I have gone through a new, stronger script of Tri-Mix with the same results and no progress (rigidity around 5 and 30 minute duration). Also, position (standing vs laying down) has a negative effect on my erection. Is this an indication of a physical problem or have I not arrived at the proper dosage yet? My urologist hasn't done any other tests (doppler or other). He just says I might be a candidate for an implant. Thanks for any help.

Have you tried adding a cock ring to help with the erection?

I found that it has helped lower my dosage. And made my erection (almost) too hard.

The key to finding a cock ring is not too loose and not too tight. Expect some rejections.

I'm a bit confused. Was all of this tri-mix experimentation before or after your RALP? I will say that if you had a RALP 7/24 then what your long term ED situation will be is still unknown. Give it some time. But meanwhile get a VED and use it for therapy.

Yes, experiment with some cock rings.

Your tri-mix formula certainly isn't a starter dose but there is lots of room left for strengthing. What is your dose of that mix. How long have you been experimenting with tri-mix.

I'm certainly no expert on the topic but I I suspect position dependent ED indicates other physical causes of ED in addition to RP caused nerve damage such as some venous leak. The question is whether or not a proper (for you) can overcome that physical cause of ED, if that is an issue.

It may be worth noting that for a fair while after my RALP I didn't respond well to injections but after 6 months or perhaps longer I began to respond well to injections. I was then also able to lower my dose. Prior to the RALP I didn't consider myself to have any ED although I did have a few episodes where I had difficulty maintaining an erection. I assumed in those instances it was mental.

If a doctor is eager to do an implant I would be cautious.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try the rings. Maybe I haven't given the increasing doses of Tri-Mix enough time. I started Tri-Mix several months before the RALP but ran out of time before finding a workable dose. I started experimenting with the increasing doses 11/23 which was several months after the RALP. My last try (this week) was 50 units of 30-2-20 (Pap/Phen/Alpro). I have been increasing dosage 5 units each time I try. The results have been the same, penetration with assistance until changing positions then loss of rigidity. Firmness for about 45 minutes. From the information I have found, this sounds like the symptoms of a veinous leak.
