When starting a higher dosage of TRIMIX, what's a safe volume to try? - Mike

Were you on a lower strength prescription which became ineffective at a certain volume injection and you now have a higher strength prescription?

The lowest effective dose is always preferred. Did you increase your volume injections up to 50 units (or more) before increasing your prescription?

First injection should be in your urologists office or directed by your urologist. Then you’ll get instructions about how to adjust the dose depending on your response to that injection.

My urologist's instructions when I started was to start with .2 ml (20 units?) and to increase .1-.2 at a time until I was happy wit the results. For me it's .6ml (60 units)

If I was doing 60 units I'd ask for a stronger mix.

I am curious as to the reasons for going to a stronger mix instead of injecting the current dose at 60 units up to 100 units? Thanks.

One consideration is cost. I use 10 units of trimix. A 5 ml vial gives me about 50 injections per vial
If I was using 50 units per injection I would get about 10 injections.
My 5 ml vial cost $150, making my cost $3 per injection.
If I needed 50 units the cost would be $15 per injection.
