I am considering going on low dose cialis and i am hoping to use a lower dose of trimix for sex. Anyone have experience in this area?

Are you planning on using a daily low dose of Cialis?

If so, you will need to reevaluate your Trimix dosage. Starting with a lower dose than previously.

The only time I had an erection lasting more than 4 hours, was when I took Viagra hoping for sex (didn't happen), then 2.5 hours later my wife wanted sex. By that time the viagra was wearing off, I injected a lower dose of Trimix, and the erection lasted 4.5 hours

I have been on 5mg daily Cialis for years including the 2 years post prostatectomie. I have ZERO erectile function and 2 years after surgery, I have lost all hope of getting it back, so I decided to save the $$$ and stopped taking Cialis 1 month ago. Though i usually use a pump to get it up for sex, I sometimes use injections and have great success with Trimix (60 units) I did notice the last time i used it, that my erection was not as good or long-lasting as it had been while i was still taking Cialis. I had heard that Cialis can help in combination with injections. Has anyone else noticed this? If so, how far in advance of "planned sex" do you take it?

I would go back to the Cialis 5mg daily especially if your sex partner or wife may not want do to it when you want to.

My two cents:
Using cialis and injections simultaneously is playing with fire. The urology staff where I go have told me of episodes where clients have taken both at or near the same time, and ended up in emergency situations.
I would just be patient, and try my best to find the correct dosage of drug to inject, while
skipping the Cialis.

I was taking 5mg (low dose) Cialis daily for the 2 years post prostatechtomie. During those 2 years I also was injecting so it is quite clear that the Cialis did not bring me to the emergency hospital visit. The low dose, in some cases, can enhance or improve the performance of the injection. I was just wondering if anyone out there had any opinions of how early to take it, etc. At $140 CDN/month ($100 USD) it's a consideration. My wife is not an enthusiastic participant in the bed. We have to schedule it and even then she does not always "keep her appointments". To keep sane, I've turned to sleeping with guys....who are married to women like mine! For now, it works.

It takes a few days for low dose cialis to build up in the body, so it will have more effect on day 4 or than on day 1. It also takes a handful of days for cialis to leave your body once you stop.

If you only have sex episodically and predictably, you can get a similar effect by taking a larger dose a few hours or even the day before sex. The “on-demand” dose a lot of guys use is one 20 mg on Friday to last the weekend. But don’t change doses or combine cialis with injections unless your doctor okays it. You cannot always predict how your dick will react and having to visit the ER for priapism is a nightmare.

I don't combine C with injections but I take 50mg V about an hour before I inject. While I think it enhances the effect of the Trimix, I do it as a backup in case I miss with the injection. If I miss, I will at least have the 50mg V helping me muster up something to complete the deed.

So the answer is in.....

I went back to taking 5mg daily dose of Cialis. When I inject... the erection is MUCH better.


......at least for me!!!
