Hi
i have been prescribed trimix. i get erections without meds but unable to hold it for penetration. oral meds like viagra are giving me erections and things are working fine during foreplay but everything is failing during penetration. i get anxiety since i am not used to penetration sex. here is my little background viewtopic.php?f=14&t=25247
since i have my first session of trimix trial dose with a mens health clinic in canada so i have few questions:
1) since i am 39 fit and muscular, no cardiovascular or weight or hormone issues. decent testerone as well so what would be the starting dose of trimix likely for me? i got two different opinions. my urologist who is based in USA (I am from canada) said we will start with 10 units and set up a baseline. however the sexual men health clinic in canada where i am getting the trimix program from said they will start the dose from 2.5 units. i think 10 is two high for a person like me. what do you guys think?
2) how much does the formulation and proportion of the three meds in trimix matters? i know that the ingredients are: alprostadil, phentolamine, and papaverine. for a newbie what would be the ideal % of these ingredients?
the precription i got has 8.33 0.83 22.5. pharmacist told me 8.33 is the alprostadil. i forgot the other two.
is it possible that someone gets a lower dose of 5 and gets perfect erection but if they change the proportion of these ingredients and take a separate dose of 5 units then results will be different.
3) My urogolist said that many people make stupid mistakes with trimix and this is why they face risks of priapism or trimix not working for them. he gave me one example: he said people due to wrong injection technique sometimes end up missing inserting all the units in their penis and some of the units leaks out hence they feel that its not enough. this prompted them to double the dosage and next time when they do it correctly they end up increasing the dosage by inserting all the units and end up facing the risk of priapism. what is the correct injection technique and how often this happens.
please advise.
