Trmix First Appointment Questions

Hello All

i am having my first appointment today for trimix injection at the doctors office. They will start at 5 units first. I am 39 fit muscular and i do not have any health or cardiovascular issues.

i have the following questions and i appreciate some help:

1) does diet in any way affects the dose of trimix? i eat plenty of proteins because i lift weights. does it impact if i take a dose on weight lifting days or rest days?

2) doctor will start at 5 units and will go up if results are not optimal. what usually happens for young guys like me in terms of dosage? does it starts higher then go lower or is it the other way around?

3) what are the main concerns i should discuss with the doctor if any prior to this injection trail today? i am getting this injection from a reputed men's health clinic in canada. they have a comprehensive trimix program. unfortunately in canada urogolist is not available for 4 to 6 months due to long waiting times. i went to the US to meet one and he told me he will start with 10 units and set up a baseline but i am unable to get this from the US due to logistical reasons.

4) which of the 3 components in trimix is most critical for erection? the urogolist told me that alprostadil alone will suffice for me if given.

thanks

I'm not the expert on injections, but from what I know diet does not affect what Trimix does. It is best to start with a small dose and work up. You don't want to risk having an erection that lasts for hours. The best thing is to observe where they inject you and how deep the needle goes. Hitting the correct spot is the key. Ask them about the mix.

Keep a spreadsheet of all the injection parameters, amount, right or left side of penis, location along the length, needle length, time to start erection, stiffness, duration of erection, etc. This record will allow you to arrive at the best technique the fastest.

Exercise or rest days should have no effect. I agree with Old Guy: diet should have no effect.

It took me three weeks of solo practice three times a week to get it right. So it's tricky but you can go through this topic "Injections" and read about good technique. In other words, don't have an expectant girl in the next room your first time! :D

That’s a good idea, I was semi stressing on my 2nd try ( 1st one at doctors office didn’t do much ) and had no idea what to expect or tell her.
She understood ( been married for 29 years ) it may not work at all but since that has been my life for the last 5 to 8 years it was cool.
My 2nd dose was better ( 30 units ) but still think I need more so will try 35 next time.

Good you have an understanding spouse. You are doing it the way it's supposed to be done, add a little bit until you have the effect you want. I hope the injections work for you for a long time.
