Doc and pharmacist both said to keep it in the fridge.

rxmart5 -- Trimix left unrefrigerated begins to lose its potency.
The longer it is left out; the more it deteriorates.
You can still safely use it; you just might need to use more of it.

I was told by my doctor that if you leave it at room temp it will greatly shorten its shelf life.

I was not aware Trimix required refrigeration when I got my first vial. A left it at room temperature and had good results for at least a month before I had to start increasing the dose.

This is what I told DW:
My prescription is marked "DO NOT FREEZE"... so i don't ....
I just keep mine in the meat tray (Appropriate, no ? ) and it last a long time.
Both my Urologist and the pharmacist say, "Use it until it stops working" I am into my 8th or 9th month now and still get terrific hardons like when it was brand new.
Here's to HARD times.... for us all

My Trimix now comes frozen and packed in dry ice with instructions to keep it frozen until ready to use. Once opened, I keep it in the vegetable drawer. I guess I should move it to the meat drawer to avoid confusion.

My pharmacist tells me I MUST keep it frozen. It comes to me that way, and he suggests I thaw it out, fill a bunch of syringes with the right dose, and freeze them.
