AutoInject vs Manual Injection

I'm posting this both to inform others but also to get some feedback from the community. For the last 2 years I've been successfully using trimix. From the beginning I used the autoinjector. I get probably 99% good erectile results but frequently ended up bruising. Recently I've been doing the stick without the autoinjector, using just the syringe and my bare hands. Guess what? For every manual stick I've done, there has been 0 bruising. Am I on to something here?

The autoinject is disaster and shoud not be used on an old penis. No way to see a proper target and miss veins. I had scar tissue before I started trimix from trying to have sex with an inadequate erection. The second time I injected with the autoinject per instruction of the men's clinic I hit scar tissue, the needle bent and injected just under the skin. A black and blue penis for days. I now self inject 1 inch back from the glan where there is less scar tissue and can feel if there is resistance. Also up nearer the glan it is easier to see veins. Old men shoud not use the autoinject unless they have a perfect penis.

I have been using the Auto Inject but found that I was having a fair bit of bruising and soreness from it. I posted elsewhere that I did some research, read up on some past threads, and I ended up procuring the Inject Ease:
https://www.ambimedinc.com/inject-ease/ Using this has given me the best Trimix experience that I have had so far. The delivery method is significantly gentler than the Auto Inject. I really think that my use of the Auto Inject might have been giving me some anxiety from the soreness and bruising. It seems like a good solution, because again it's a lot gentler than the Auto Inject, and I just can't see myself having much luck manually injecting.
Also, in the below "how to" video it's suggested to squeeze the base of your penis after injecting for about a minute to trap the medicine in. I can't recall ever seeing that suggested elsewhere, but it seemed tremendously helpful/effective:

I’ve been injecting for 10 years. I tried an auto injector early on, but had the same bruising that’s been discussed here. I talked to my Urologist and he said that auto injectors can sometimes lead to added scar tissue due to the pressure of the auto inject. Since then, I’ve been manually injecting on alternating sides. I have had no significant scarring issues since dropping the auto injector.I was thought to inject near the base at either 10:30 or 1:30 on the cock clock. I try to avoid veins and usually have no bleeding and a high success rate.

Inject Ease has been the way to go for me.
Been using one a little over a year with no mishaps

I started with an Autoinject 2. Slams the needle in, always some bleeding. About the 6th try I forgot the release mechanism (I was hammered) and took the needle out and did it by hand. Inserted the needle very slowly, never a miss or one drop of blood since.
I highly recommend by hand, its gentle, no blood or bruising. Basically you just need to get over your fear of doing it by hand.

I can verify this injector works very well. Simple and not as complicated as Auto Inject types. Best of both worlds.

I'm more comfortable manually handling the injection since I can be more precise about where it goes. Also, if I have any doubt about getting the correct site I can aspirate just to verify that there's a little bit of blood coming back in.

I've injected manually with good results for eight years. I'd be afraid to aim an automatic injector hoping for the best.
I think automatic injectors probably work best with thick penises, which probably have thick corpora. I have a thin penis and quite thin corpora, about 0.2in=5.5mm diameter, and I find that very careful and slow manual injecting gets the needle into a corpus on the first attempt most of the time. In fact I can often inject painlessly, when using 31 gauge needles, because I pull out and move over a slight amount if the needle encounters a nerve. I very seldom get a bruise.
