Crazy cost of prefilled syringe cases

Somewhat of a trivial question, but ....

I like to pre-fill a few syringes and freeze them until needed. This allows me to minimize the thaw/refreeze cycle of the bottle. I find the simple plastic cases helpful to protect the syringes, such as:

https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Insulin-Prefilled-Discrete-Diabetes/dp/B0CHRM8M25?pd_rd_w=ee04Q&content-id=amzn1.sym.59910fa8-b73c-408a-aa5f-d0b4e0aa42cb&pf_rd_p=59910fa8-b73c-408a-aa5f-d0b4e0aa42cb&pf_rd_r=PYHBV8H7T0VH2ZY5JY22&pd_rd_wg=I3CfW&pd_rd_r=cf2198ed-a896-4c70-8c61-0bccf59f00c8&pd_rd_i=B0CHRM8M25&ref_=pd_bap_d_grid_rp_0_30_i&th=1

These are the cheapest I can find at $4.50 each. Searching for better prices, I've seen them regularly at $16/ea and as much as $25. Now, I'm a capitalist and I congratulate these sellers for getting what they can. But, really, these things must cost 2¢ to manufacturer. I get that demand is probably very small but shouldn't eBay or AliExpress have them for something like 10 for $2.00?

Any tips on where to find them?

A simple plastic container maybe? No reason each needle needs a separate case unless you're throwing it around.

You can make something for free in half a minute from a cardboard delivery box.

I use the cartridge cases from expired EpiPen cartridges. Maybe a little bigger than necessary but they work, they're free, and they're very sturdy.

Thanks for all the ideas. I bought some screw-top storage tubes (140mm x 25mm) from Amazon for $0.49 each.

Follow-up. Ipre-loaded a few syringes and put them in the storage tubes I bought. So seemed to go well, but I'll see how they far after a couple of weeks of frozen storage.

Maybe a crazy idea... For travel away from my refrigerator/freezer, is there any risk or obvious downside to filing each tube with water and freezing the syringe encased in ice? I'd then it it in an insulin travel pack. The idea is to get a little longer time before they thaw.
