Hi all,
Could anyone tell me the strength of my script from the attached photo? Is this a low dose? I am up to 35 units and feel it's just enough for penetration but not really hard like I was expecting. I think I need to have Dr. adjust formula.

Welcome to the forum.

Your mix is written as per 1ml of liquid. It's a 20/1/30 with the alprostadil (PGE-1 or Prostaglandin E1) listed first. The alprostadil is written in micrograms (MCG) while the other 2 are written in miligrams (MG). There are 1,000 micrograms (mcg) in 1 milligram (mg). Mixes are frequently written in the reverse order from how yours is written, with the Papaverine listed first.

It's not the weakest starter mix. The Papaverine is pretty maxed out but the Phentolamine can be increased, at least doubled. Probably most importantly, the alprostadil (PGE-1) can be increased substantially, X5 or more. The alprostadil is generally considered the heavy hitter of the mix.

So yeah, you can ask for a stronger mix, bumping the alprostadil up to 30mcg might be a good place to start. But I don't know squat and your doctor should be able to advise on the best bump in strength. A dose of 35 units isn't a huge or unreasonable amount per dose. I personally would prefer about a 12 to 16 unit dose. That size dose is small enough to be very cost effective and yet large enough to meter the dose easily.

If you aren't already doing so I'd suggest adding a novelty/sex shop cock ring to the mix. The correct ring(s) for you may give you that extra boost you're seeking without increasing the strength of your mix. Unfortunately there are a bazillion novelty/sex shop cock rings on the market most of which won't provide what you're seeking. You'll have to experiment to find which work well for you. Expect rejects! There is a thread about "Cock Rings" in the "Members Only" sub-forum which may (or may not) be useful:

Good luck.

Instead of adjusting the formula you could increase your dose to 40 or 45 to evaluate. A larger dose would be more expensive in the long run. I am unsure if there are other disadvantages to a larger dose of 50 or more.

bldoink’s advice is solid.

I’ve injected for a long time and a decent sex cock ring slowed my venous leak, the underlying cause of my (and most) ED. That way the shot doesn’t have to work so hard.

So keep using this vial, but when it’s time to get another ask your doc to up the prescription strength.

35 units at that strength is pretty potent. The formula is already enhanced over the standard. Cock ring is definitely something you can add. You might want to go for a max of 45 units to see if that makes a difference....adding 5 units at a time probably won't matter much. Having said this, make sure you have ruled out technique and proper storage.
