Freezing and Max Strength

Hi,
I've started freezing my Quad Mix as needed. I've found this keeps the potency of the medicine and thaw as I go. When I did not freeze the medication, I noticed potency decrease. Does any one else freeze?
What is the max strength level your pharmacy provides? I use quadmix 60 which is their highest and trimix 80 which is their highest. The quadmix makes the erection last longer which works great for me.

I use alprostadil mono-mix but yeah I keep it frozen. The alprostadil (PGE1) is the most fragile component of tri or quad mix and does deteriorate if not frozen.
The terms quadmix 60 or trimix 80 mean nothing to anyone not using the same pharmacy as you. What are the specific amounts of the specific ingredients per ml.
I don't know what the strongest mixes my pharmacy makes. Although I think I did hear them mention that a mono-mix of 80mcg/ml was the strongest their strongest, which is what I use. I suspect if I sent in a script for 100mcg/ml then that would then be their strongest mix.
Edit to add: OK, I see in your sig. what the quad-mix is. Go with what Goodwood said in your other thread.

I keep my mix frozen. I thaw it and pre-fill about a dozen syringes and then freeze them also. A day or two before anticipated need, I'll move one from the freezer to the refrigerator. I once had I thaw a frozen syringe but that only took a couple of extra minutes. I have plenty of mix so I don't mind wasting a little of it; this allows me to overfill each syringe and reduce it to the amount needed for the occasion.

Yes, I have been freezing my Trimix from the start. I thaw it out when I need it, fill the syringe and then refreeze the vial. I have been doing this for almost a year that I have had Trimix

The only time I froze my Trimix was when I got a new bottle and waited to use the older mixture.
I'm on my third vial, and my first two vials lasted over a year.
The last dosage worked as well as the first dosage.
My urologist has been in practice for over 30 years. He assured me that Trimix would be good, for well beyond a year in the refrigerator. He told me one patient used a vial that was five years old (once a month user). With no degradation of effectiveness.

The only component that is sensitive to temp (r/t potency) is the PGE (prostaglandin). The degradation at room temp is overstated. It’s not THAT sensitive. Doesn’t break down THAT quickly.
If freezing works for you that is awesome. I had a very strong quad mix and tried drawing up syringes and freezing them, thawing a syringe as I needed it.
In my case something precipitated out of solution in the freezing and thawing process and about half of the syringe needles were plugged. I would poke the needle into my dick and then the plunger would not move. Not at all. Very frustrating. A wasted syringe. An unnecessary hole in my dick. And then I needed to thaw another syringe and try again. I tried it several times before giving up on freezing drawn up syringes.
Freezing and thawing the entire vial just seemed like making an inconvenient thing (shots) even more inconvenient.
So I’ve always kept the vial in the fridge and haven’t noticed a drop in potency. The first shot of the new vial didn’t seem any different than the last shot of the vial before.
Experiment and see what works best for you.

Looking for studies on the stability of PGE1 I couldn't find one that wasn't behind a paywall. The best I could discern from very short abstracts was 24 weeks at 5C/41F but I don't know at what potency loss. (
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11313835/) Another states "Results suggest that PGE1 diluted solution can last as long as 90 days, while decreased concentrations of PGE1 are detected after three months." but the brief abstract didn't mention temperature. (
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/8348212/#abstract) It would be nice to read some of these studies but I'm not going to pay the fees.
I freeze my mono-mix and have never had any issues. I've used mix well over a year old with good success.
Whenever I freeze preloaded syringes I always leave a good bit of air in it and freeze it so that the air is at the end with the needle.
When tri-mix precipitates out of solution I suspect it's the Papaverine. I suspect this because 1) I've never had an issue with precipation with my alprostadil mono-mix and 2) I've never seen a mix with more than 30mg of Papaverine. I suspect that's the max amount that will stay in suspension. However I may be totally off base on all that.

Agree 100%. I have used Trimix frozen for 3 years in sealed unopened vial and it was 100% effective,
