Understand the components of TriMix.

Postby GoodWood » Mon Mar 10, 2025 2:48 pm

It’s a good idea to understand what the different components of Trimix do. That way if your mix doesn’t work as well as you would like you have some idea of the tweak that might improve your results.

It would be great if all urologists knew this level of detail, but some have more expertise in other areas of urology than Men’s sexual health. Sometimes they are working their way down a set menu of mixes the compounding pharmacy provided. But many compounding pharmacies can make custom mixes. A mix that might work better for you.

Do you need more rigidity? Or for the duration of the effect to be longer? Or both? Or are you having pain? Tweaks to the Prostaglandin (PGE), Papaverine, or Phentolomine might help.

In short:
Need more rigidity? Increase the concentration of PGE.
Need more effect duration? Increase the concentration of Papaverine.
Need more rigidity AND duration? Increase the concentration of both PGE and Papaverine.
Having pain? Decrease the PGE or switch to BiMix.

The two following images are taken from a pamphlet Wedgewood Pharmacy provided. Although they no longer make Men’s ED injection meds, the information is still relevant.

Hope you find this helpful.

Thanks for posting. This may be of use in the future. I am on alprostadil alone and it seems to be working....for now
1955. I have had ED for years. We were going for a Rigicon Infla10 in October 2024. Life got in the way (heart attack & stent), so we are now going for injections as a fill-in.
