Why does Quadmix cause me to have a headache and my heart to race?
When I inject Quadmix I feel my head pounding and my heart racing as soon as I inject the medication. I thought the medication was supposed to stay local. I almost passed out due to low blood pressure.

Have you tried any other ICI mix? If so, what mix and were the effects similar?
Born 1954. Diabetes, hypertension and atherosclerosis. Sildenafil is iffy. Tri-Mix (30/3/20 Pap/Phen/PGE1) a godsend pending long-term efficacy. Daily Cialis. Tried LiESWT, Botox, PT-141, Eroxon, QST, DUS, Vertica, cabergoline, psychotherapy+hypnotherapy.

I'm surprised that happens. How long have you been injecting? Are you stressing over the injection process? RRP 2011 Mayo Jacksonville, Dr. Wehle. Non nerve sparing. C in margins. Radiation 2023, V.E.D, Viagra and PGE-1 (80mcg/ml) injections @ 7 - 16 units. Originally Edex20 or 40, then compounded PGE1 due to cost. Inject. 14 yrs. It works. FL Treasure coast.

The extra component in Quadmix can impact the heart, I'd go talk to your doctor about this.
45yo, venous leak. Pills increased tinnitus (very rare). Using bimix+atropine, 0.2 of:
Atropine Sulfate: 52MCG/ML, Phentolamine MES: 0.9MG/ML, Papaverine HCL: 26MG/ML

QuadMix is typically the standard components of TriMix (Prostaglandin (PGE), Phentolomine, and Papaverine) plus Atropine.
I used QuadMix for a while but eventually the prostaglandin ache became so bad I switched to a mix that removed the prostaglandin. Then my mix was Phentolomine, Papaverine, and Atropine.
Atropine will cause an increase in heart rate but not usually at the doses that we are using. In my case I have the highest typical concentration of atropine in my mix (0.2mg/cc) and am using up to a full cc. A dose of 0.2mg of atropine is enough to increase heart rate somewhat but the symptoms you are describing are much stronger than that.
The most common cause of ED is venous leak so we expect the medication to wash out of the penis and become systemic over time.

56yo, NYC. ED started at 40. Pills first, then shots for nearly 10 years. 24cm Coloplast Titan w/classic pump implanted by Dr Eid 3/25/2025.
