Need opinion

Hi guys, I'm in a very difficult position. I had a penile trauma and developed erectile dysfunction. I can have sex in some positions with Viagra. It's not completely hard, but sometimes it is.
Sex is empty. I don't feel the pleasure of having a penis engorged with blood.
I'm 32 years old. My question is:
1. Am I too young to start using injections?
2. Should I stick with monotonous, but natural, sex?
I don't have much money for injections either.
3. The doctor wants to ligate my deep dorsal vein. Has anyone had it done?

Efficacy for dorsal vein ligation is notoriously spotty...only about 20-30% long term success rates. Personally I'd stay away from that. If you're going for surgery, I'd say get an implant that will solve the problem completely (though depending at your age you'll likely need multiple revision surgeries over your lifetime).

You're not too young for injections. But keep in mind injections are a little more risky than we usually hear about. Plaque formations leading to curvature (Peyronie's), and fibrosis or scarring are real possibilities. They are also inconvenient and take a lot of spontaneity out of sex, especially if you're single.

I used injections for well over a decade and luckily had no issues and they are still working for me, but I'm going for an implant later this year...I don't want to keep playing the scarring Russian roulette game, and I want more reliability and spontaneity in my sex life.

Good luck whatever you decide!
