Ideal Needle length for Trimix

I know there have been a few threads regarding the best needle size for trimix injections. Some say 5/16'' is better and some prefer 1/2 inch. Is there anyone who switched from 5/16'' to 1/2 inch and got better results? I ask because I am seeing sometimes I miss the sweet spot with 31g 5/15'' needle . I read elsewhere that 1/2 is ideal. Any thoughts?

I switched from 5/16" to 1/2 inch because I experienced occasional misses and also some bent needles. Not quite as comfortable, but the results are more consistent.

On recommendation of my uro I use 1/2" and get great results. I wonder his penis thickness has anything to do with size of meedle?
