This is slightly related to my last post. I was browsing through the "Treatments" section of this forum a saw this: "To help make injections as effective as possible, use a "pump to
plump". If you pump up your penis slightly and then use an
adjustable cock ring to keep it plump, the cavernosa is a much
easier target. The constriction will also keep the drug in the
cavernosa where it then has time to work. Many times, the drug is
flushed out of the penis before it has a chance to work. Once the
medication kicks in, you can remove the ring."
Have any of you tried this? If so does it work? Does this need to be a medically approved pump? Where can one get a "cock ring" as described in the above statement?
As a fairly new member of the club of injectors I am seeking first hand experiences. This is a great forum.

Can confirm that it does work, get yourself a Vacurect, you can pump up and remove pump and the ring will keep your penis pumped up for a easy target to inject. Take ring off after about 5min, and you are ready for action
Good luck Mike

Shop,
The trouble with pump and shoot is it adds a boatload of complication to the shot process that you might not need.
Anything more that alcohol wipe and shoot is getting more complicated and if you don't need it don't worry about it.
(and you can quickly get on to doing what you should be doing with that massive Big-E rather than fooling around with pumps and rings and things).
Just shoot it!

Re: Anyone Try This?
I have pumped my dick up several times prior to injecting and it seems my dick does not respond as well if I pump it up first - the erection is not as strong nor does it last as long. Perhaps I left it under vacuum too long which increased the volume of my penis such that a larger dose was required.

Charlie.....
IF You decide to get a vacuum pump, I suggest you check with your urologist first for a prescription. My insurance covered about 75% of the cost of a medical pump (Osbon). My co-pay was about $85.

Re: Anyone Try This?
I read here that pumping shortly before or after injecting can cause scarring. Eventhough it was the only way I could get a good erection, I decided to stop doing it this way because I plan on getting an implant.
Age 71. Married 52 years. Location Oregon. PCa at age 56. Open RP surgery and radiation treatment. Oral or injection drugs didn't work. Implanted 10/13/20. Titan Narrow Base 18cm with 1cm left and 1.5cm right rear tip extenders.
Re: Anyone Try This?
I injected after pumping and with cock ring in place yesterday..... got great results. Like someone said it took about 5 minutes and then I had a great erection which lasted about 45 minutes. It seemed strange ..... nothing seemed to be happening for first couple of minutes and then all of a sudden it popped out nice and hard.
