Trimix to Quadmix

Postby Rootshooter » Thu Jul 09, 2026 9:40 pm

Hi People .Dick here from Edmonton Canada. I had my prostate removed almost 20 years ago. Since then I have been injecting with Trimix. At first it worked good. After a couple of years i graduated to a double strength compound. That gradually started to lose effectiveness and I move to a triple strength compound. That has also become mostly innefective. Half wood that doesnt last lond. I should mention I am 74 years old. The pharmacist says it could be a combination of tolerance and age. Anyway, I now have a prescription for Quadmix, which I hope is more effective than the Trimix. Can anyone tell me of their Quadmix experience? Thanks in advance for any info. I think that if this doesn't work, I will have to consider a more radical option

When I was injecting and Trimix became unreliable, the move to Quadmix was great, but only for a short period. With Trimix I was using 50-60 units and barely getting any response. My first Quadmix at 10 units was like the first-time using injections, nice and hard. By the time I did 5-6 injections it was already not working as well. At 40-50 units of Quadmix the effect was ok but the ache the next day got too much to handle. That's when I quit injections.

Hey Dick,

I used injections for about 11 years.

QuadMix is basically TriMix with atropine added. It does help, although I wouldn’t say the difference is dramatic. It definitely gave me a little better response.

My compounding pharmacy mixed everything themselves, so they could make whatever strength my doctor prescribed, as long as the medication would stay in suspension. Over the years, my prescription was increased as my ED got worse, until eventually even a large dose of the strongest concentration they could make wasn’t very effective. That’s when I decided to get an implant, and I’ve been really happy with the result.

I’d definitely give QuadMix a try. Hopefully it works well for you.

I have been on the Quad-mix for about 3 years now. Depending on the situation, how horny I am etc....it will work great while other times I get hard enough for PIV but it feels "chubby" and not that rock hard feeling. I only have one more level of Quad mix before I'm at the maximum strength. My dose right now is any where between 12-15 units...I will probably gradually increase it until it just doesn't work any more..I find also the longer time passes between "encounters" the greater the effectiveness of the Quad-mix...Abstinent for a 2 week period seems to be the time frame that brings the Quad-mix to it's maximum results.

I had a similar experience.
I tried Quadmix, it wasn't any better and it made my penis ache.
Started with Viagra at age 40. Worked good for about 12 years.
Tried Trimix injections, worked great for about 8 years
Now Trimix no longer works.
I got implant on Oct 26th 2022.

Injections did not work for me. I either had no response or a sharp pain after injecting. This was with both Trimix and Quadmix. I also developed peyrone’s due to injection site trauma.
