Hey Guys
What's your current Trimix formulation/dosage?
I've just started injections of trimix (10-1-30)
Alprostadil 1O mcg/ml
Phentolamine 1 mg
Papaverine .30mg/ml
I ml dosage works perfectly for me, but that costs $33 per injection ( $165/5ml).
I'm hoping to get a stronger formulation, resulting in a cheaper cost per injection.
Any experiences on dosage that I can take to my Urologist?
Also, any good low cost compounding labs in the L.A. area, or out of state?
Thanks for any suggestions!!!
Bart
Need a stronger Trimix
Re: Need a stronger Trimix
I needed a stronger dosage and now am using:
45mcg/27/1mg inj
C-Trimix LYO Hi PGE/PAP/Phent
Mine comes unmixed and I add 2ml diluent to the powder in the vial.
If necessary I could add less and make it stronger, but quite costly.
I pay $25 for one vial when buying 4 at a time which gives me around 16 or 17 injections for one vial.

tomas1,
Wow, the powder form sounds much cheaper and you only have to mix one vial at a time. Shelf life is much less of a problem and traveling is a lot easier.
I will pursue this with my eurologist and pharmacy!
Thanks for your response!
