More advice please

Postby Farmerd » Tue May 13, 2014 12:54 pm

I placed this in Hellos and had one member with experience advise me to try .15. Anyone else know how touchy the dosage is? My wife and I would like to error on the stronger side, it has been so long.
I was not impressed with the uro I saw. I and my GP I think are smarter than he is. He should spend more time on this forum.

I have been lurking on this and another site for over a year in search for help on my ED. My wife of 52 years and I were frustrated with no or limited results with oral meds not working plus my psychological worries about performance was crippling as well.

At the moment I have had one .10 cc injection of Trimix 10/28/1 at the uro’s office with a 50% erection for a little over an hour-- felt good. He OKed me to try .20 next time for our first try. We are both excited it works. Have my Sudafeds ready, just in case. Any advice is welcome even though I know we are all different.

Farmerd , get on with the sex already , inject .15 , wait 45 minutes , if that isn't good enough , inject another .05 in the other side . Quit wasting your time on here , and get it on with your wife !

Chuck,
Believe me I would but 3 weeks after total knee replacement is holding me back. Trying to think of new positions we could try with a cripple. Everything piles on at once it seems.

I just read through all of your posts , you shouldn't be worried about performance , you get the dose dialed in , you will be like a 19 year old for a couple of hours . You both will have big ol smiles !

I agree with the previous responses. If the increased dosage isn't satisfactory, get a stronger dosage.
Your history (except for the knee replacement ouch) sounds like mine.
I got up to 40 units of the weak dosage before getting the stronger stuff.
Watch out, the uro may try to get you implanted immediately.
Not that there's anything wrong with implants, but it's not the first step imo.
I'd also not worry too much about a 3 hour erection as long as it's not painful, and goes down occasionally.

OK, I did the .2 of standard trimix last night and had and erection for about an hour. We were both happy except I was not able to climax but she did several times. I think the wife wants me to ejaculate. Any suggestions how to get that back? Might be psychological with a touch of BPH.

Why do you have ED?
RP in 2012 because of prostate cancer. 100% ED, also some leakage problems.

Lately, my experience is I fail to ejaculate the first time, but after resting up for the second round, it usually works.
My wife claims to not like seconds (or thirds), but usually ends up liking them, at least the seconds lol.
I haven't had any prostate surgery if that matters?

I am 73 years old and ED started 8 years ago with losing erection during sex or just not hard enough for penetration. We went to Viagra, then to Levitra and finally Cialis the last couple of years along with Testosterone replacement therapy. Finally on to trimix which I hope we can use for a while. Maybe it's all in my mind, which trimix may help as well.
My PSA runs high and had a biopsy two years ago when PSA was 5, was negative but picked up a bad case of prostatitis from it which has come back twice. PSA was at 10, month on cipro, went down to 8.3 and was 9.3 a week ago. Uro DRE said prostate was not overly large for my age and smooth. I think sometimes we are over treating prostate cancers, 98% of men over 80 had some form of prostate cancer in cadaver screening, just a matter of what is going to get you in the end. I haven't ejaculated during sex for 6 months now.
Had to talk Dr. into getting testosterone and estradiol tests to see what balance I was in, he thought I was trying to micro manage myself. Thyroid was ok as well.
I will just keep at it as best I can. Suggestions are welcome.
Dave
