Slip,
These are per measured syringes that the doctor mixed based on a reaction at his office. I'm thinking of only doing 30 IU next time. ,,,,, Also, I'm paying $30 an injection.
These two items raised a suspicision-flag -- not about YOU -- but about whether your Doc is trying to pull a fast one on you. I say this because seldom do Uros or other docs dispense Trimix by the syringe (or any other way except by giving a prescription for you to go get filled). However, Uros do sometimes dispense plain Alprostadil by the syringe (by drawing it from their own stock vials of solution).
On dispensing Trimix (even in syringes) by a Doc, it could be it is against the law for them to dispense compounded medications on their own -- even if a Pharmacy made the compound. Maybe someone can correct me on that. (Alprostadil is not compounded so that is dispensed sometimes by a Doc).
The second red flag is of course the crazy $30 per syringe that he is charging. A Caverject system syringe could be that high a price -- still crazy high but it is a patented system so they can charge whatever the market will bear -- or even way more.
Maybe recheck with your Doc on what the formula is in the mixture he gave you.
