I checked and it seems that the half life of alprostadil is 9 to 11 minutes. Phenolamine half life is 19 minutes. Papaverine 2 hours.
Why is it that we should not use Trimix less than 24 hours apart and not more than 3 times a week?

Reading many of the injection posts here, it's obvious that the limits set by various uros can vary quite a bit. My guy has the 24-hour limit but no limit on times per week. (I have used daily on a two-week vacation.) Your question is a good one. My guess is that at least a few of the members here have at least occasionally done two injections in less than 24 hours. Perhaps we'll hear from them. Would be interesting to know their experience.

I suspect stretching out the time between injections helps the tissue heal from the actual needle penetrating the corpus...Without proper healing scar tissue can form...and then you got other problems which will only compound your ED....

After going three years without a usable erection , my wife , who is way hornier than me ,and I went through a 5 ML vial in a month , shooting 10 to 12 units each time . A couple of times I shot 3 times in 24 hours , always alternating sides , with no adverse effects ..............like my Pharmacist said , ENJOY , see you soon . Chuck

When I started using trimix once the application has no effect and shortly thereafter I did another application I had a pain very intention and I couldn't get penetration. Sometimes I do application (low frequency) with 24 h interval but gets very sore after the penis stay flacido soft. I think the recommendation of 72 h intervals must be to avoid pain and fibrosis.
