Does Bimix start to lose its potency?

Postby tarheelgwb » Wed Jul 01, 2015 4:17 pm

guys,
i started using bimix after 7 weeks ago after my PC surgery in March. At first the the shots, using 20 units seemed to work fine lasting over an hour. lately though, the erection starts to subside at about the 30 min mark. I usually inject 20-30 mins before sex for some foreplay time but now i can getting concerned that i am building up a resistance to the drugs. does that happen? i have increased to 25 units the last couple of shots but that doesn't seem to matter.

appreciate some opinions or experiences.

Yes, it loses its potency. So no need to worry that you are becoming resistant.

My pharmacy actually recommends discarding the vial 4 weeks after the first use because of potency loss.

Of course that's not really practical so my doc tells me to keep the vial frozen to extend the potency

He advised keeping the vial in the freezer and thawing it out only to draw up a dose. Then re freeze.

Or pre-draw up all your doses and then freeze the syringes.

The potency is going to fade anyway as that's the nature of the beast.

thanks for the post. i suppose I need to clarify my question though. my vial is only 6 weeks old and has been kept in the freezer since the start, except of course for the few minutes while preparing syringes every week or so. My question really "does the body start to build up a resistance to the meds?" overall, i am seeing a decrease in the performance of each dose as my erection has started to fade now at about 30mins.

Ok, I understand better.

A couple things I'm thinking.

- When I was a newbie, I would have mixed results with the same dose. I'd get a couple hours, or I'd get nothing, or I'd get a 1/2 hr. What it turned out to be was a problem with my injection technique. Pilot error! The guys helped me get that figured out, especially good info from jimstars here:

- you may need to increase your dose. Getting dose dialed in was hard for me too. Your doc can tell you how to proceed.

- I started on bi-mix and to be honest, it just wasn't that great. The erections were ok but not what I expected. Not at all like my pre-Ed boners. Once I switched to tri-mix I got much better results. Rock solid erections at a lower doses than I used with bi-mix.

ON EDIT: I see you tried the tri-mix gel and got some pain from it. I have never had pain from the tri-mix injections. Has been great.

Hope this helps.

I am new to bimix and had the same question. the pharmacist said freeze it when you get it, if your on an open vial already, and that the open vial will stay potent a couple of months if refrigerated. I asked him if it were reasonable to simply increase the dose as it gets weaker and he said that is fine.

what are everyone's thoughts here? should i throw it out once it begins to degrade? is using more and more, being to much of a cheap skate? Obviously I risk "failure" or Priapism with this guessing game, but i hate to waste it.

In the future I am going to pay more to get 1ml vials (10 at a time) freeze 9, and have one open in fridge.

I have seen mention of pre-filling syringes and freezing them. the pharmacist said he wasn't sure of the stability of the bimix frozen in a plastic syringe. what are ya'lls thoughts?

Extra info: I was getting 3-5 hour erections and shagging for that entire time with 10 units initially. now im using 22 units and getting maybe 2.5 hour erections. i assume when i get a new batch, i go back to 10 units?
I'm 55. PostFinasterideSyndrome/Peyronies . Initially had good erections but numbness. Now erections are compromised, but good sensitivity. I see Dr. Irwin Goldstein and do : TRIMIX-Clomiphene-Arimidex –Cabergoline -Cialis -Traction-VED-Pshot-gainswave

Hi, I use trimix and keep it in the freezer until usage, and then I refreeze it. In this manner it has lasted me 8 months with almost no degrading of the mixture. I don't freeze syringes full of trimix ahead of time because of the sterility issue, as after the syringe is opened, it will slowly become contaminated. I WOULD do this if I were to use it the same day or next day.
I use the trimix until it runs out, as it has lasted 8 months, as I said above, so I never throw any away. I think that you'll be fine buying it in larger quantities and then freezing it immediately after drawing it up in the syringe.
