I was a viagra user for 10 years.It works ok but not always effective enough for prolonged intercourse.
last year I switched to trimix injections and these are perfect. Aside from the little pinch and an occasional bruise no problems for the first 11 months. I inject 3-4 times per month, alternate sides, apply 5 minutes of compression, take 2000 iu's of vitamin e daily and 1000 mg of paba to help prevent scarring, and use the smallest needles available.

After injecting on my right almost eight weeks ago I noticed a small nodule. I still have this thing and my uro says it's a minor plaque.He said I can continue to use injections in the manner stated about just avoid the nodule by injecting at 2 o clock not 3 o clock. I have read that these nodules can go away on their own after a couple of months of stopping the injections.

I realize that with each injection microscopic damage is done to the penis and the tissues critical to erection.
I also realize that the penis can deal with this especially if my conservative methodology above is employed.
I want to continue to use trimix as i have the past year but i don't want to make a low level peyronies situation into a real problem.Especially if the nodule can resolve itself.

However i am considering switching to trimix gel. it sounds too good to be true---same meds, good erections, but no needles.
Has anybody had a similar experience as mine and was trimix gel just as good a trimix injection?
I would appreciate any comments based upon similar life experiences.

Like you, my results with oral meds were haphazard and often frustrating. Trimix has been wonderful for me and no ill effects so far. But you've raised some interesting questions and I look forward to hearing more on the subject. Please keep up posted. Following a real world case history in real time will be very informative.

One question: how big is the nodule?

Jafjdm, Interesting points you make. I have been injecting for 1.5 years now... I love this magic juice! I like you are shooting up 4 or 5 times a wk. I have not had an issue at this point but a know that it is a possibility of damage. I am taking that risk nothing was successful till I started the injections. I am a PCa guy and the day of surgery make jr limp.

You will see a number of postings here and there on Trimix-Gel. I've used it off and on for a 1.5 years -- varying doses.
It does not work as well as Trimix injects (for me). Trimix injections (which I make FROM the trimix gel ingredients) are
always 110% effective and cost like 1/60th the cost of a single Gel sploosh. The Gel max dose is now 1500mcg(PGE-1), 300mcg(Pap), 100mcg(Phen).

Note that those are all mcg .. none are mg values like in Trimix compounding for injections. So it is practically all PGE-1. Still, for me it never gave any ache -- others have had burning sensations.

Not sure how much you know about Gel -- it costs approx 30 dollars a shot (only got thru American Pharmacy in FL) -- and you get a six-pack in one order. So since you said you only inject 3-4 times PER MONTH (not per week) if it works you will be all set with room to spare. If you decide that 150 dollars a month is also worth it. I suppose you could widely stretch out your regular Trimix shots even -- still using them but even more sparingly.

One final idea to avoid the needle (and more conventional) is to use MUSE (pellets). That depends on how much PGE-1 ache you get from them -- I get a little -- some people hate it -- a lot. And for me MUSE (at 1000mcg dose level) also can work up to 100% levels for hours. I use it sometimes as fill-in between off-days from needle shots since I get 6 MUSE per month and have to use em up somehow!

So you can try either of those. Thanks for the Vitamin E reminder -- got it in my fridge but have been neglecting taking them -- will start up again.
