Hi all:
Since there is no standard dosage and every individual is different. I am trying to compile some statistics to see what are the injection dosages for trimix and quadmix.
If you would like to help and contribute, please state the following (based on your most current and most commonly used information):
1. trimix or quadmix
2. proportion of each ingredient (e.g. 30 mcg of papavarine, etc)
3. usual amount (e.g. 0.2 ml or 20 unites, etc)
4. frequency of use per week (e.g. once a week, twice a week etc.)
5. duration of use since the very beginning of injection (e.g. 6 months, 1 year, etc)
Thanks for all in advance,
If you would like, I can post the compiled results afterwards.

Here is my formula and dosage for TRIMIX
(30 MG papaverine/1 MG phentolomine/20 MCG Prostaglandin E1)
currently using 3 units (really !!) sometimes will increase to 5 or 6 units (like when the Rx is getting old
I have been using trimix for 4 years, always the same dose and formula
Cardiologist wants me to abstain from injecting since I had open heart surgery... will be asking him to allow injecting at next appointment

My trimix is pretty strong:
45mcg/27/1mg Hi-PGE/PAP/PHENT I'm currently injecting .2ml 2 times a week.
I've now been injecting it 2 years and my amount injected has varied.

Here is my formula and dosage for TRIMIX
(30 MG papaverine/1 MG phentolomine/20 MCG Prostaglandin E1) just got script--test shot is now up to 45 units, will have to go to 55 units next shot. Only getting a 8.5 for 20 mim. good enough for penetration--bur NOT enough time--start to lose erection!!
I started out 1yr ago on Bi-Mix--(30 MG papaverine/1 MG phentolomine)
went for 6mo on it, then went to Trimis lite for 6mo (30 MG papaverine/1 MG phentolomine/5MCG Prostaglandin E1)
So still trying to get stronger dose, that will be = less units, but do not see Doc for another 5mo.
She will write stronger, may have to go to 30 or 40 PG-1---but I was (afraid) I might get ache/pain??--(so I went low to start)
72yrs old
ED for last 2 yrs---
on statins, and blood thinners for a stint

Rocky, I wonder if your pharmacy would contact your doc to get the stronger prescription? It seems a shame to go so long without the right script.

Yes I agree, you have heard the saying (we live out in the middle of nowhere)--that is true, and the Doc is very, very hard to communicate with as she is very busy.
I may try though, thanks for the concern--did 65 units the other nite-it was about a 9.5, and lasted about 30 min.

My Uro pushed trimix
It was years before i brought myself to using it.
He did not tell me he sold it. He told me it was from compounding pharmacy so I called around
1 pharmacy was very helpful that their are many different formulas and I guess because ingredients and pharmacy different
the price may vary. I think even might vary from part of country you get it from.
He told me to use .10 mcg. I tried it 1X in his office. Told me it would work better at home
I tried it for about 6 months maybe 4X when I went back he told me I could have used dosage to .20.
Also I should have used it every abort 10 days. I got another bottle and could not do it every 10 days but increased dosage.
Was better but I hated I still hated self injecting.
I asked Uro about bi-mix and quad-mix. Told me trimix was safer and better. He told me that it was a proprietary mix.
I never asked direct contents but before I asked I was cut off.
I was told that tie-mix success was better than 90%.
He never told me of Muse or edex. After trimix did not work think I should have been told of other choices.
Edex I got from pharmacy so no profit margin for him and yes it was a lot more $$ but it did work better with me.
Being that so many different formulas and that it degrades over time I don't think you can figure out the success rate of
Trimix. I can tell you it for certain is not 90%
Since then I have seen 4 other urologist. They all asked me how much I paid for the tri-mix. The 3rd uro I went for 2nd opinion would not let it go. He kept asking me name of urologist that sold me trimix and how much did I pay for it.
I never got opinion out of him and I left the office.
Think trimix is a nice profit stream for the urologist
