Is Trimix available in the UK?

Hi, just joined because i've spent months trying to find Trimix over here in the UK with no success. My GP has referred me to my urologist but i've been told a meeting may not happen for up to 6 months so i spent a good few weeks trying to see if it's even possible to get over here. In the US you have compounding pharmacies, over here they're called Specials Pharmacies. I've contacted a few and some replied saying they don't do injection drugs.

I even managed to contact a site that says they'll find somewhere in your country that can make it for you. When i asked about over here i was told they currently don't know of anywhere. This has left me wondering if it's even possible even if i get a script from the urologist. I have tried other things such as Viagra, Cialis and even Caverject (which sort of worked but was so painful i couldn't bear the thought of sex). Luckily (and even knowing it was daft but was desperate) i tried some Trimix while visiting a friend in another country and 20 units worked like a charm for 2 whole wonderful hours. Since then my friend has passed on otherwise i'd be talking to him about this.

Onto my question, has anyone from the UK managed to get Trimix over here? Other than that does anyone even know if it's possible or have any idea of a way for me to get it over here? I have no doubt i'll be able to get a script eventually and if i need to wait 6 months then so be it, what i don't want is to wait 6 months and the doc to tell me it's not possible. Any help is so very much appreciated as it's awful knowing there's an easy solution in other countries whilst being deprived of it here.

Hi, I would appreciate it if any of you who have found a supply of Trimix in the UK (or how to get it into the UK) could tell me where or how you've obtained it . I've tried all the other UK meds available through my Urologist without much success, thanks.

Manta,

You did try PGE-1 (alprostadil or EDEX or CAVERJECT)??

If none of those worked it is unlikely that Trimix would work anyways.
But it does matter how much of the above you had -- if only 5 mcg that might not be enough
Up to 20mcg or more would have to be tried to be sure you got enough.

Anyways .. no Trimix in UK. I wonder if there is a law against compounding it or they just don't have the stones/cajones to give it a try. There would be BIG money to be made by the first chemist in the UK to legally supply it. Very strange.
