Medicare Injection Coverage

Perhaps I missed this question in previous post. Does Medicare cover injections.???

I have never heard of Medicare for any of this. I was told the VA covers much more.

No, Medicare does not cover the cost for things like tri-mix/bi-mix
Or other injectables. Neither does The drug plans provided.
Over hear from what happens is you get it from the Dr.
But like I tried Edex, it is not from a compounding pharmacy.
Get it from drugstore it came from my pocket.

Hard to get prices from Drs about it

Try shopping around, maybe see another urologist. I saw another urologist. He would tell not me what he gets for tri-mix.
He wanted to know how much I was paying for it.
After a few urologist I finally told me what he charges and the price was different.
It also depends on what is in it and where they get it from. From this I think it also is what part of the country you are.

I had a consultation with Dr. Eid today and he told me that medicare does not cover injections......
